Quick Referrals using Twitter's Search Feature...

Anyone here using twitter? If so you should! I've been using Twitter and have some decent conversion rates.

Twitter's search engine allows you to witness live tweets about a subject or keyword. In ex; I put a search on twitter for "I Want a New Macbook" and up comes a list of thousands of users actively tweeting how bad they want a new macbook pro...

Live Pic.

I then quote their tweet and reply back with a link to my site. This method is very targeted and isn't viewed as spam. To them, I'm simply engaging in conversation and offering a link that i believe will get them what they want...

Look at some of the responses I've gotten...

BEST THING ABOUT THIS METHOD.... you don't need 1000s of followers.. you don't even need 200 followers..

A postgrad in my uni has stored data everyday from Twitter about people tweeting certain keywords. Im half tempted to get his script and scrape twitter now.

yeah.. i just 6 greens last week, all spread through 4 freebie sites.. but about 20 reds in 2 days.. so it definitely helps while im still adding more content on my website.. that's about it..

You are a genius.. first the craigslist method, and now this! I dug i'm my old account, changed my name and layout, and i've just tweeted about 5 people. It seams oprah has just given away ipads on her show or something, and now there are lots of people tweeting they want an ipad at #OprahsFavoriteThing. btw, if you want to follow me, in now Theappleman21, seems fitting. just subscribed to your rss to. I have to be honest, this is genius!! As long as you're not bombarding the same person with hundreds of tweets I can't see a problem. Although this is quickly gonna get massively overloaded. Nice share tho

Saturated or not.. as long as we don't limit ourselves to one method, we should be fine.. and even still. If you retweet someone's statement, agree with them, and then share a link relevant to the conversation, i can't see this method not working and i don't think people will perceive it as spam or advertising. People love getting recognition or having their tweets retweeted.. that's the magic.

You seem to take this different approach...

Rather than trying persuade everybody to check out FJ, you are simply finding unique ways to find highly highly targetted people...

I think this should be very prominant in people's minds when they are out there looking for a new method!
