What's your method for getting greens on FJ?

Ok so I recently posted on ebay and I got 9 referrals within 12 hours. Sounds great, right? Nope. Everyone who joined hasn't completed an offer. What's your method of getting greens? I've posted on youtube, ebay, getref, facebook, online games (xD), and many more, but I just cant seem to get the 10 referrals I need for my iPod Touch. Any help?

Don't put your referral link on eBay as that is against eBay's rules and can be seen as spamming your referral link by FJ.

My method is my site. And a few other secret ones. That don't seem to be working.

Keep at it.

Following Up with New Sign ups (referrals) can be very effective, yet it's almost always over-looked by every freebie site participants on the web.

It's too often we flash referral links on sites and then assume that people should complete an offer IMMEDIATELY after signing up; Doesn't work that way!

You have to realize that the average person won't always complete an offer the very second they sign up. Though they may intend to, 90% of the time, people have busy lives and are often too distracted by millions of things.

Here's a quick story...

"I remember signing up with a freebie site for the first time about 3 years ago after reading an article by some online. I signed up under his link, and was ready to complete an offer. However, before I decided to complete an offer, i wanted to learn more about the whole thing to boost my confidence. But there was one problem, all the guy had to offer me was a referral link and a video on his article. He had no resources to point me to after. So in other words, I was on my own in a new industry and i had no one to point me any direction.

So what happened next, i decided to take a break, go back on facebook, and hang with my girlfriend. Eventually I forgot about the freebie site and didn't join another until 2009 under someone else who did have more to offer me after i got involved."

See, what this experience taught me was this; People are generally excited to participate in prize incentives, but if you're not there to keep their attention or offer further help after they sign up, you will lose that referral and end up with a dead account. Truth is, 90% of people who sign up under your freebie site are very interested.. but they will lose interest within an hour and end up forgetting about it.

This is the reason why we have accounts filled with Dead Referrals...

So one tip I'd like to offer in regards to Following Up is, have a blog, create a free guide, offer a step by step video, or find somewhere to direct your new sign ups to where they can remain excited and sign up...

So agian, Have something more to offer than just your Referral Link. Don't work so hard to convince people that freebie sites are legit...

It' not about what they require, it's what people are asking for... that's what i was getting at... i don't think pointing them to freebie site instructions will get them to take action..

When people BUY things or SIGN up for things, they make EMOTIONAL decisions... If you don't know how to use words or provide content the motivate
people emotionally, then you won't keep their interest. Again don't expect everyone to have a passion or hunger for freebies as you do..

I've now got 60 people signed up, and 3 completed. Also, apparently you can list it so long as you arent trying to sell them anything on a site other than ebay, you dont sell the information to them. :O
