i got a card from vistaprint, describing a deal for amazon customers only. as an amazon customer, this deal looked class. but when i was going through the steps, i was expecting to be asked for my amazon id and password, so i could be charges through amazon, no such luck though

There are a few sites with the same free Vistaprint offer (such as point rewards), but you still have to pay the £3 for postage. Cards do look quite good though...

Re: Have you tried using free business cards?

I've just sent off for some, there's some pretty decent suggestions for places to put them, I'll think up a few myself too.

I'm also gonna try designing something on Photoshop. I'm thinking of doing one very simple, just having my .co.uk with the xbox 360 in the link and 'Get yours free now' or something similar.

Scrubs is ace, the Janitor is a lot better in season 5 - "Knife wrench, for kids". Also, there's a few good plot twists at the end of the season.

Re: Have you tried using free business cards?

Mine were posted today, so I will get them in a couple of days. I round the corner from a newsagent so I will see if I can have one put in the window or something. It should attract a reasonable amount of attention since almost everyone who shops there is a student.

Re: Have you tried using free business cards?

Wow, great idea for getting greens.
I was thinking if you put them inside a games magazine you would be hitting the correct target audience - just make sure you dont put anything on the business cards that implies that it is a paid advertisment related to the magazine or people would be more likley to sign up and trust it - and that would be terrible!
