Possible gold mine.

On my evenings when im not slobbing in frnt of the TV, or slobbing around in the local pub,i like to slob around on a certain online game im sure were all aware of *cough-WoW-cough*

Dawned on me last night that my guild mates are an untapped gold mine of sign ups and lets face they are already hooked on 1 online game so i know they have the internet and they enjoy computers.

posted in the forum i was close to getting my lovely free xbox360 slim....figured it was better that i would stick the link up on the guild forum instead of typing it in game.

Fingers crossed but in a guild of over 70 if even a hadfull see it through it will be great. Plus im going to see about setting up some in guild trading with them and they then do the same thing as me to their friends

Nice idea but a little warning, don't spam your ref link as FJ won't like it and they may put your account on hold. I recommend making a basic website that explains FJ with some useful information and then posting a link to your website.

Also, they might see it is a ref link and not sign up or might leave out your ref code.

Thanks for the input Chapperz, i put the link up on the guild forum so not sure if oit would be spam as its one post. Didnt think about the ref link so will have to hope and pray on this one and put it down to a learning experience if it goes pop.

Don't rely on forum posting, even if you are a regular member and have been for a long time. I posted on a few forums and I got some abuse and got accused of scamming people. Even when I showed them proof from this forum they still said, "those people are being paid to do that!" which is true, they did get paid to refer people

It is a potential gold mine, but you must play WOW, which i don't and have a decent guild with a great number of members like yours? Correct me if i am wrong.

No that is a must really mate...otherwise you sign up for the free trial account, shout it out in the starting area..and the one guy that paid any attention doesnt know how to use a keyboard.

established group and friends is what makes me think i could make it work, just hope i dont get witch hunted for trying to "scam" the gorup.
