![]() | Sign Post?Well I think I have a good place to put a sign post XD I want your opinions though So if I put "Free iPhone! www.*Domain*.com" and put it here: (WARNING Quite a big image) Spoiler Would it be legal for me to put one there? XD I'm assuming it is considering I already have that red sign there I just want confirmation considering the content of this sign will be completely different So, That road it faces must get a few thousand people driving by each day, And a big sign in the middle of all that greenery would stand out easily So it would defiantly get noticed Do you think it would be a good place to advertise? |

![]() | Haha it's not all my house XD, Most of them are sheds I just circled them because the "A" from google maps pointed at them for some reason And yeah I was intending to make the sign The main reason I made this thread was to confirm if it was legal or not I guess i'll have to look into it |

(Considering what day it is today) And no, I don't live in a shed; Google just likes to point to my shed when I put in my post code XD | |

| iPod 60gb | Because it looks like a fairly long straight road, and not in an urban area, I presume the traffic is going quite fast down there. You are going to want a very big and very clear sign. All you'll want on it are "Free iphone" and "domain.com", as drivers won't have long to read it. If you drive then it will definitely be worth doing a draft mock up of your sign and driving past it at the sort of speed people drive down that road at, so you can see how readable it will be. If you don't drive it might be worth asking parents/friends to drive past it with you in the car! Let us know how it goes!

![]() | Now this depends on your council, but I do have some experience of this; I used to be involve in organising our town bonfire every year, and we put signage up on roadsides and lamp-posts. The council red tape got worse and worse; Eventually it got to a stage that you had to measure the height the sign was being put at, you wearnt allowed to use lamp-posts or traffic lights, and the signs had to be pre-agreed with the council and taken down with 24 hours of the event taking place. One year, one or two of the signs were acidentally left up, and someone at the council traced the phone number of the signs back to me and threatened legal action. I would be extreamly weary of putting signs up...but its up to you. |
