Idea for a method

Hello,
I have an idea for a method I want to use.
The idea is to create a number of business cards, all offering for example the LOVEFiLM 14 day trial offer, and mention that if they sign up through through my website with my ref link (which I would try to make as professional looking as possible), they could be on their way on getting a free Iphone or Blackberry.

I would clearly explain how FreebieJeebies work on my card, and also attempt to make it seem as if they card had came from LOVEFiLM (maybe try to get permission to use their logo or something, it would make it seem way more believable).

Doe this method seem effective, are there any ways that I could make it any better?

Could be done, I think it would be a tad misleading for the users when it takes them to a Freebie site though

I really dont advice you to do this..
Reasons why -
You could get fined by the police and pick up every card that the people dropped.
It would be misleading and people would just sign up at LoveFilm not Freebiejeebies

Yeah, but if I were to get a decent sounding domain that looks legit and explains how the whole freebie process works, people would be getting what they want (the lovefilm trial) and can begin to try and reffer other people to try the offer.
I would also try to include this information on the card.
The problem with littering does concern me though

lovefilmgifts .com and .co.uk are both available though.
Is it worth getting one of those just for experimental sake?

MJ You are one lucky man.. my advice would be spend some time on it. Publish some reports on it. go to your local corner shops put up some ads.. and good luck. also try your local newspaper

The only disadvantage is that when people see your card, they may Google 'get free iPhone' and as they know how it works (thanks to your card) they may just choose one of the top ranked websites and leave yours.
But I think if you choose the right words to talk about FJ and your website, it will be a very useful method !

The whole site is just one image! It was just a basic design I did on paint and need to work on building it.

Learning how to use wordpress atm... so blimin frustrating! This is all I have for my test site so far: Nintendo3DS
