| I guess it would be very effective. I did something similar today, actually. I have a friend I talk to regularly on Xbox live and got him to sign up and take the 14 day free trial from LoveFilm. The fact that these people use steam though sort of guarantees that they have everything the need to actually be able to complete an offer (credit/debit card, the internet etc) and could work very well. Think of the potential too! Get some really close friends on steam (well, to an extent I guess) and see if any of them are willing to help. Guess you proved it with someone you met just a day ago. | Yep. As you can see in my sig he did eventually complete an offer which is really cool especially seeing as he was the first person i tried it on. With a bit of fine tuning it could become extremely effective. Any ideas on how to better this method? |

| 1: When you've just created a new message, go to edit recipients and scroll down through all your friends, then after your friends list has stopped the recent players list will start.
