only had 10 sign ups from that url in the past 2 weeks, although it has been re-designed so maybe the new look is working with regards to conversions, shame the serps ain't following the same trend lol.

apparently Bluetooth Marketing | Bluetooth Advertising | Blue2 | Bluetooth Proximity Broadcaster Systems blu2 says that it can connect to '1000 phones per minute' ...do you think that this is true, and the software you were using just so happened to be a little crappy?

also, would you say that the 1 hour you spent chucking out the advert directly resulted in the 4 pendings, or would you say that there were other times when you were using that bluetooth stuff, e.g. that time at school you spoke about etc... cos personally i'd be quite happy with £80 an hour to sit in a shopping mall.

and final question. did you advertise your site with a picture and link to a website, or did you advertise a .gif or something with an attached contact card so people could save the website etc in their contacts.

How many actual sign ups did you get from 127 connections?

Also, would you not just link FJ ref link instead of a site? (not sure how the software works!)

Hi, After reading this method I thought I should give it a try, so Friday morning a went and sat in starbucks with my macbook pro and looked like i was doing work .. I detected 20 bluetooth devices while there and only 1 accepted the file. It seems that I need to change my approach. Oh and no sign ups from it.

Good method but praps my version needs a little tinkering with

hmm i am thinking something. would it be possible to get a pocket-sized device(maybe a usb storage device) that can run the program , and be connected to the bluetooth.
in an ideal world it would be a small dongle type thing just running it and you can just wear it , and walk around advertising

Yep, there is something like that, but the ones that you can carry around in your hand and that, they cost around £400...

Just realised my sister has a Netbook I can "borrow". Does it have to be a Netbook though as I have a laptop, or is this impractical due to the size of them?

Netbooks are just smaller and easier to carry around (also my netbook has more battery life then my laptop, and its easier to hide)
