| this is my set up now with a bluetooth booster £90 which gives up to 500 meters range, test at school today during the kids break time and it went berserk so its a deffo improvement.   you can get great results with just a dongle but I have bigger plans which requires the extra umph.

| too early yet to tell i havent had to the time to sit anywhere long enough for a long session, few days off next week while the sprogs are off school so a visit to whiterose centre is on the books.

| The thing is with bluetooth is that it is two way communication technologie if i am correct. Lets say you pc has a bluetooth range of 100m, and your phone has a range of 10m and they are 80m away from each other. The pc will be able to comunicate with the phone, however the the phone wont be able to communicate with the pc, therefore there will be no transfer of data. So in Harvez case he can pick up phones 500m away but they wont be able to accept the connections if there bluetooth range isnt 500m also. Therefore the add will not be sent to the phone. |

| you can only send to phones within range, this is evident by the software telling you which phones are b/tooth enabled and their details re: the phones name or what ever people have changed the name to. there is no two way connection other than when a mobile accepts the incoming message to tell the software to send. If someone then accepts but are walking away from you, the extra boost of signal from the box i have makes sure i have more chance of that message being delivered.
