 | How to get greens: My guide.This guide will give you a good method on how to get greens, Sometimes it doesn't work but when it works it reaaaly works if you know what I mean. Follow these steps: 1) Go to Youtube and choose a video that's recently going up in hits like an Internet craze.. Justin Bibier for instance. 2) Go to KeepVid: Download and save any video from Youtube, Dailymotion, Metacafe, iFilm and more! and put the link in of one of the videos from youtube with high traffic and download it. 3) Once the video is downloaded, Upload this to youtube and put your website in the description. This method can either get you little referrals if your video doesn't really kick off or it can give a crazy amount. DISCLAIMER: downloading content that is not yours is against the Youtube terms of usage policy so be careful. |

| yeah - i'm nearing 10,000 hits and only a few sign ups - and I'm actually telling people that the rest of the video is on my site. In the past 6 days I've had at least 500 uniques from youtube, and only a few sign ups  Just shows that unless traffic is targeted, it isn't really worth much. If you've been using this method, it probably explains why you've got 75 reds and no greens

| In general I believe youtube gives very poor quality traffic unless you have a real niche video which isn't only about what you are trying to advertise, but also to do with the target market of the video being people that actually want the product. For example if you were selling cars, rather than simply a video about a car, a "car buying guide" etc. |

| yep. youtube traffic works wonders if done right. dont just slap any video up and post your ref link on cos that wont get you many greens. like william said you need to keep it niche related. so if your trying tp push a free iphone or something. you would use a funny iphone related video. again with ps3 or consoles. use gaming videos for this. game trailers. game cheats. etc etc |

| Re: How to get greens: My guide.Surely there's copyright issues with downloading other peoples videos?! I had my video removed by YouTube after a few thousand views because it was the Lewis Hamilton F1 crash.

| There is, but you're video only gets removed if somebody reports it... I used to do this to advertise my website (non refferal related) And it seemed after a while that my youtube account got flagged and I wasn't getting any where near as much views. But all I did was make a new YT account  |

| I haven't tried this method yet but I agree things like that need to be targeted. You could maybe wait until there is a massive launch coming up and post a video on that product. Just chuck in your referral link for the old ipod/laptop ect. |
