Facebook Group Conga ....

I did do a search and have figured that there are a lot of people who try and get greens by creating a facebook group, getting as many 'fans' as possible, and then start sinking links, tinyurls, and websites into their status updates, photos etc ...

these groups rely on loads of people being 'fans' of that particular group. i propose we do a conga. obviously we're all not gonna get a load of greens from each other, or probably even our friends (seeing as im sure each of us have done this already) ... what i think we will benefit from is the ol '6 degrees of separation' theory. we'll have a greater chance of getting greens from our friends, friends, friends if you know what i mean?

i've just started a group, and thought it would be a good way to get a boost to my starting numbers, as well as give a boost to people already with large groups?

Rules (in the loose sense of the word)
1- Post your facebook group at the bottom of the list.
2- you need to join, suggest to all your friends (at least 100 if not all), comment and 'like' at least one post/photo/status in everyones group above yours. If you have Twitter maybe give other peoples groups a mention there??
3- If the group is 'Get a Free ____' then leave a message saying 'yeh this works, i got mine from FJ too' or something similar.
4- After a couple of days come back and do the same for everyone below you. This way everyone in the list benefits, not just those at the top.
5- Only 1 group per person (until there are at least 3 other people below you, who you've commented/liked/invited etc.)

I guess i shall start it off, with my measly 3 fans ...

i liked, commented and invited with laura, then i liked and commented with myself. laura will have more friends then me from england by the end of the day, and ill do it again then.... Laura has a target audience of white, english 18-25 males too.

Maybe just the join, comment and like buttons. This way, it would show up to enough people on their Wall without being an 'invite' ... then the conga would grow, and you could add to the Group list ...?

edit: or do it but only invite a select few, who arnt really your main friends, but you have their conacts already. this way they wont be pissed off, cos they dont care, and neither do you. e.g. i have 400 odd people of which i actually only really care about a quarter of them. seem to add people after a night out never to see / speak again...

I don't think this is working? There's quite a few Groups up there, but i think people are maybe just becoming fans and liking? It doesn't really spread the group. also, looking at my Facebook's insight it says that there have been two fan posts and zero likes. It may just not have updated yet, but i'm not sure. If you dont wanna invite people maybe just use facebooks tag featuve (type '@' the start typing the group to display it on your wall) or something similar ... duno.

maybe wasn't such a good idea. ahh well. i'll keeping thinking ...
