![]() | Re: what to say to ur referrals?Dont bother with emails. none respond to emails and it is spamming. You will only make it worse. Its best to add all the email addresses to your MSN messenger. Give yourself an interesting or exotic name and an eye popping avatar like mine. Most people will be polite and approach you first. they dont have to know who you really are. Once they start talking to you. it gets easier to get refs. Even though I have only gotten one green in this way. I have found that those who are interested from the start will go green without persuasion, but those that arent wont do so even with some gentle persuasion. |

![]() | Re: what to say to ur referrals?I disagree here...msn just seems too much of a mission tbh. With bulk emails - as long as you have the right tone - you reach a larger group of people - with far little effort. The likelihood of them taking it seriously is a lil greater. But this is all down to the tone of the email - don't sound desperate! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: what to say to ur referrals? Its not worth it, your just end up putting them off if anything (as they'll just think ur spamming them). If their going to complete a offer, they will-but i doudt theyd take advice from a mysterious stranger. However i did try it and introduced 2-3 people to exceem and i think got 1 green! |

![]() | Re: what to say to ur referrals?send them an email, but only send to a couple of people at a time, mass emails infer that you've got none of your referals, and that the person signing up is gonna have to also email hundreds of people to get the same result. i usually email two at a time.It certainly has worked on occasion, but probably hundreds of these emails went straight to trash without opening will all the nigerian bank scam emails and spoof ebay stuff!! LOL |

![]() | Re: what to say to ur referrals?I just put my own email in the "to" part and bcc them if I'm sending a bulk email for any reason, and most seem to get through unless they've got their spam settings very high. I did this ages ago when I first joined and did some eBay ads. I kept it as brief as possible, very polite and personal rather than salesy. I let them know a few "tips", such as how if they refer their friends they must make sure they use a different computer or else they might think it's fraud. I asked them just to let me know whether they were thinking of doing an offer to help me keep a track. I said I was sorry if they didn't want to receive the email and that if they never wanted to hear from me again they just had to let me know, but that if they had any questions they could feel free to ask. I had 2 or 3 "please don't email me again" responses, although they were all very polite, so I must have got the tone right. I also had one girl email me quite a lot because she was having trouble getting credit for the offer she'd done. Unfortunately she never did manage to get the credit though! Overall it was far more hassle than it was worth as I don't think I got anything from it (although I'll never know whether the email reminded anyone to do an offer). |
