 | How to get greens from website.Hi, everyone. I'm quite new here, so please don't pour down too much information on me.  I've already made a website, got 150-160 people to visit it via stumbleupon, but then the traffic stopped, now I don't have any more visitors. I've already got 7 people to sign up from chatting in Omegle, and got 4 more from my web. But the thing is, none of them went green! So I'm stuck, I've got a web with no traffic and I've got 11 referrals that don't respond to Emails that I sent to them.  Please help me. Thanks. |

| To get more visitors to your site you need to build links to your website on other people's webpages. You could do this by commenting on blogs, submitting your site details to directories and link exchanges or any other ways you can think of. As for people not responding to emails, I'm always surprised when I actually have someone acknowledge an email as it happens so infrequently.

| Commenting on blogs? How should I write a comment to put my website's link in it? As for submitting site, I've already done it with google and yahoo. Is there any web that gives you referrals? |

| you have to do alot more work than just stumbleupon.. you need to get your link out there on the www. link exchanges. drop your link on other blogs in the comment section. make a youtube video and include url in video and description box, create profiles on myspace. fbook and bebo.. again drop your link on the profiles. add friends and tell them about it.. just a few things id do right off the bat |

| Submitting your website to Google directly is a bit of a waste of time, as they will take ages to check your site if they ever do. Far better to comment on a few popular blogs instead, with your website address in the URL box and put your keywords (the words you expect people to search for, to find your site) in the name box, just as long as other people have done that too.

  | You don't even need to put your link in the comment as most have a website field which means your name becomes the link. Looks even less spammy and will help to get more comments accepted. But as said before make sure the comments are relevant and add to the discussion on the blog.

| Just one final thing, you will need a link back to exceem on your site if you want to put the link in your sig. Also you get an edit button on the bottom of your posts for 5 minutes so you don't need to double post.

| The whole blog thing si for "SEO" (search engine optimisation". Do a search here and you will find lots of info. In very simple terms it's altering your website to make it appear higher in search engine ranks for "key terms". There is lots of info out there. |

| It doesn't matter about how many people you get to visit your site, it's how many targeted visiters you get. This means how many people that visit your site that wants to sign up AND do an offer. If they are just visiting because they want to get traffic exchange points or just stumpled upon it and don't like it, you won't get results. Make sure your website is attractive as well! |

| If you want traffic to your site, basically get backlinks which means get a link to your site. Now there are some sites that have interesting stuff you can comment on and they actually need your website so you can comment and thats one way. |
