Use Craigslist?

Ok so I'm new but all the post's I have been looking at have never mentioned Craigslist, I know its a UK site but still that is your best resource.

Think about it, In America at least, many many many people use craigslist, more then would view your free subdomained website, more people then on a social network even with 1,000 + friends.

THe recession is also a big factor, most people go on craigslist looking for free offers or jobs, just post this in there leave your email and tell them straight up how to complete an offer and what they have to do. I feel like this is a huge untapped resource.

Also speaking of free money and with the amount of users on this site, has anyone ever given thought to exchanging views on youtube? Now i know this might be a little harder but if everyone viewed 5 others vids a day the amount of views would grow, allowing anyone to become a partner, meaning they make money from the ads, if everyone exchanged views thats about 100$ only like 50 pounds sorry per month.

Ps if anyone is interested in the second idea let me know

Becoming a Youtube partner isn't just about views, you need to have original videos that people enjoy. Simply having thousands of views won't get you a partnership.

As for Craigslist, it's been mentioned before, and people didn't find it that effective, still worth a try though.

Well you must not have very much youtube knowledge in this case, because if you generate a certain number of views it doesn't matter about your content trust me, i know.
Yes but i really think that craigslist you have to give all info out and tell them everything, which offers get them the best deals and so on and so forth, and not post in places where you are but the huge cities, NY, LA, Chicago. also if you placed the same ad in either free or in jobs (since you can make money with this) and posted in every capitol every five days, i bet you would generate 5 greens or whatever they are called easy.

People have already said that Craigslist is not a good idea, but actually it is against Craigslist's terms and conditions to make postings about "free stuff" sites or other affiliate marketing sites. Doing this can get you banned, and they are not very friendly. I would not try it. I did for a while, but never got any greens.

Good luck trying to get your ads to last 5 seconds on the american craigslist pages. Theres so much rivalry on the amrican craigslist that they all just falg each other post and no one wins.

Doesnt work. Uk is good for traffic tho.

That's what happened to me. My posts would rareley live more than 5 minutes. The longest was like 20.

I've got two reds already from it, posted in my college's town (Boone) and in my home town (Raleigh-Durham), and in Atlanta

You don't list it as free because it's not it's $5+ for most, plus you have to know what gets americas attention, cheap **** in a recession, Americans are all over that.

And for the banned, how does that happen? I uh never signed up for craigslist, I can just post as anonymous and leave my email for people to contact me by, and I mean if you mean the email I leave in the posting section for the actual craigslist, how hard is it to make a new yahoo or gmail account in like 2 mins?

I guess this is wrong but it is kinda working, depending on if those red's turn into anything is a whole different matter but still it's worth a shot I suppose

Okay, 5 views a day, how do expect to get a lot of views like that? Maybe it is possible to become a partner purely on views, but I've got 500k total views on one of my Youtube accounts and not got Partner (I've applied)

So good luck getting enough views for partner with 5 views a day, when 500k doesn't work.

I meant at a growth rate, not like one guy viewing a vid 5 times a day, but multiple users viewing everyday, that's why i mentioned the fact that this place has potential because of all the users. Maybe I wasn't clear enough, sorry. (also what is your youtube account?)

Also to all of those who told me about craigslist and I was like no it'll work, you were right they did take down my page and I am sorry about nay saying all of you, it works for a bit but to the guy who said 5-20 mins you were speaking the truth my bad

Okay lets say 20 people decide to do this and all view 5 a day. That's 100 total views across 20 people's videos, equalling at 5 a day.

It's basic maths that it would take 100,000 days to get 500k views...

Don't call me dumb when I'm right...

And as for my Youtube account, you don't need to know that, it's irrelevant, but if you don't believe me,

You are right in that sense, but I didn't know when I first posted that the same 20 people post on this forum. I figured it was a bit more than that with 1,000+ people everywhere.

And I dunno why you won't let me see your youtube, you don't think I know about the javascript that lets you modify any webpage for screenshots?
But I don't think you do that, I think you have videos that are not original, and are like music videos or like some other copyrighted material that excludes you from partner ship. I have a friend who has a **** ton less video views than you but is a partner, makes vlogs about nothing.

The reason you don't need to know my Youtube is that it has nothing to do with Freebies or eXceem, I can tell you now that the videos on it arent particularly original but don't break copyright laws.

it may not break copyright in your head, but youtube can get you for more than 30 seconds of a copyrighted song, its stupid as hell.
