The £5 To get greens.

This was in one of Imoose's videos i thought i'd share it with you incase you havn't seen the video.

Ok, you need a £5, £5 are one of the most popular pound notes, and notes get passed around alot, especially £5 ones.

Now, write your website address with something like Free macs @ your website, on the top of the £5, not on the face, or anything else with importance.

Now, go buy something for £5, give the person at the till the £5 Face down from where the pen ink is, so they don't see it. If they do see it just tell them it was there when i got it, they shouldn't refuse it anyway.

I think this is quite a cool lil method! I think next time im in the UK I will get 100 pounds worth from the bank and go crazy. New notes would be best because obviously they will last longer in circulation. Even if one note goes through 4/5 people before it goes back to the bank you have achieved your goal!
I may even try it here but I doubt the success rate won't be as high as in the UK.

Just thought... What if the bank logs onto your website and finds out it's you and gets you for it as it's probably illegal

I do it on all the notes I have (that I remember!)

Duno the results from it as I can't monitor what traffic comes "from cash" :P but hopefully it gets the word out a bit!

(may do it on the 360 Turkish Lire I just got out for holiday!! All in 20lire notes!!)

Yeh, remember if you put it on the queens head, the green numbers (on both sides at the end), or the shiney thing, your screwed.

But they shouldnt stop you or arrest you for writing your webaddress on a £5, it's not illegal to write numbers on them, just say its some egyption lettering, lmao. (Dont say it if they have glasses on) (And only say that if they ask why its on there.)

They will sign up quickly depending on how fast the £5 goes around.

1.Go to a shop and spend the £5 note with the address on it
The reason its £5 is because its the most common.
2.When someone buys something for £5 and gives a £10 note, they have the chance of getting you £5 and then probably looking at it when they get home. Busy stores are better for this.

Theres no chance of it getting passed around alot, so spend it on something you actually need.

3.Wait a while because that £5 will be passed around alot, and hopefully after a while you'll see some greens.

And don't just limit it to 1 £5 note... I do it on every note I get! £5, 10, 20 etc etc

I would only do a £10 or £20 in a big shop, with high prices, £5 for general shop.

I think defacing the currency counts as treason :O so you have to be highly careful. It's a good idea but I don't condone it :P
