I was just messing around on a business card site (not vistaprint!) and was just designing a card. All I had done was type my webaddress and I thought... Wow, that actually looks prtty good, I may not mess with this!!

What do you think? (You can put any contact details you want on the back... or not!)

waste of money biz cards imho, out of 1,000 you hand out 10% may look at your site from that 10% you may get another 10% who signup and from that 10% you may get 10% who complete an offer.

you start to get the drift.

all the "methods" past and present work because they are hitting huge numbers of people so the % levels are alot higher.

I've done alright out of business cards in the past (got me most of my signups and greens for my £275 from freepay!) Everyone get's different results... depends how well you utalise them!

Just been looking to new designs atm. I've stigmatized for a design and was messing around with a few of my own.

So let's imagine I am getting a business card... is this one eye catching? does the simplicity work?

Personally I think less is more.
It's stark simplicity may be enough to garner interest - big brands do it sometimes to generate interest for a new product.
If it's free I say give it a go!

Just make your site look really professional and you'll be onto a winner.

And the best thing with this site is I can upload 500 different designs and still get them all free! I'll probably go with loads of different background colours.

IMO, leave the back blank, they'll find that out on the website, and you'll(probably) get more traffic.

make a logo for you website and put it on the back. also change the backround colour to something more vibrant. also what are u trying to recieve?

1: I've put my website tagline on the back
2: Because I can choose up to 50 different designs I have done 10 different coloured backgrounds

creating curiosity is the best thing because tring to motivate people to sign up is hard work creating curiosity is the best way to do it.

ahh well if you look at how many people a day you see ie talk to such as people in shops people who give you services ect it adds up. its much better to give them after some one has made a good first impression of you which takes about 4 seconds remeber

if in that first few seconds your handing them a card you can guess what their impresion of you is.

if you have just given or about to give some one custom they are much more inclinde to look at things and do you a favor

just say hey can you do me a favor and look at this...

so bout 1 or 2 refs from 1000s of cards lol

depending on where you post them If you give them to 100 relevant people you might get 50 sign ups and 10 greens.

if you hand them out to 100 random people you might get 10 sign ups and 1 green.

You got to be a little clever about it. And know you adience!
