well basically im going to use the car meathord im going to write FREE ps3 xbox 360 wii hdtv satnav and much more and put a shortend link to my website in big writeing on a A4 paper and put two a4 paper on the back windows of my uncles car any suggestion to improve this methord

I don't think i'd do this to my own car for myself never mind for anyone else.
I like my car looking normal, not like the graffiti wall in the park bogs :P

Instead of using A4, why not cut the length of A4 in half, print out what you want onto it, then laminate it.

Once laminated punch 2 holes in, 1 either end, then use sucker pads pushed through the holes to hold your ad on the window of the car

laminate - 2 mins if got machine, if not local papershop 5 mins
punch hole 5 seconds
place in car 5 seconds

Only as much effort (if not less) than building a website and SEO'ing it for ever,

No, I meant the effort of (assuming you didn't have one) going out, finding a stationery shop, buying a laminater (either the hassle of going to a shop and buying one/the laminating film or waiting for t'internet to deliver), or going to a print shop and having to wait for an hour (never used a print shop, but I'd assume they're a 'leave it with us and collect it in an hour or so' type operation)

Punching hole, yes, it takes a few seconds

Grabrail, you also left out the suckers, again, sourcing these would take time.

Also, for the number of referrals you're likely to get out of it (which I'm assuming wouldn''t be many!), I reckon you'd do just as well to focus on the presentation and wording of the actual document rather than spending time laminating and suckering it. After all, how many times have you looked in a car window and, even if the ad looked good, actually done anything about it?

of course, it would help if the car in question happened to be an expensive sports model- more likely to get attention and admiring glances (which would lead to people actually reading what was in the windows) than if you had a beat up old peugeot!

OK. so I decided to go ahead and do this.

First I put together a very quick design on my laptop. Emailed it to my dad, who has a laminator, he printed out, laminated and posted them back to me.

Just got back from local cheap shop with a car window sign, you know the type, with a sucker on it for 99p. Removed it and put it into mine. put it on my back window of my car, also placed 2 more in the side windows for when on dual carriagways or the motorway.

lets see how it goes.
