![]() | Craigslist used to get referrals?I read on a website that a (slightly deceptive yet useful) way to get referrals is by posting an ad on craigslist saying that you are giving away a (substitute desirable item of your choice). When all 250 poor blind souls email you asking for it then you tell them that its not available anymore, but here's another way to get one. Thats when you explain the whole freebie thing to them and give your link. I know it's not technically lying, but does anyone have any feedback on this method? I'm considering something like it. |

![]() | Hi. I've heard that this method has been used many times before, also on Gumtree. But I read about one person who tried this, and then they were reported by the 'poor soul'. They lost quite a lot. Also, I'm sure it would be classed as spamming. Still, I guess you could read up to see if exactly what you do is legit in T+C's and then maybe carefully test it out. |

| MJ lady with maracas | Closed, eXceem does not allow the posting of methods that break other websites t+c, and I would think that listing something you know you dont have to list is in breach of these.
