New but my Twitter Strategy

Hi, I just started my freebie career this week.
I have completed my offer and gotten 6 referrals.
I made a site, gotten around 50ish unique hits in a few hours.

My method of advertising is by spamming twitter.
I downloaded this app called TweetDeck, I read about it in CPU magazine or something.

I basically searched for the terms "want ipod" "want iphone" etc etc
And then just send them a tweet with my site on it.

I think this is a good time because there's this #squarespace craze, they're giving out 30 iPhones in 30 days..
So I basically put #squarespace as a search term too. Haha!

Tweetdeck automatically updates. And it's free.

I'm a Yankee by the way. A true Yankee from New York City.

That's the strat I'm using atm.

I think this is a good method, ive been toying with Twitter for a while, and I use Tweetdeck as well, I might look into this for my niche.

IMO all methods out there are all at least a little bit not legit

after 5greens of doing this i got my account banned, but not for spamming as i never spammed... infact i never posted anything about getting the free stuff... yet i was getting over 80visitors to my site a day and about 3 or 4 signups a day

IMO this is a good method.

It is up to the owners / mods if this is acceptible here. So until told otherwise by one of them, I would imagine it is fine to talk about.

Well, personally i think this is a good method. ALOT of my friends have been using twitter lately, but personally i think facebook is cool, and that's what I'm sticking with atm.

Still this sounds like a cool method, I'll try it out 100% XD

If this method is all good. I really suggest #squarespace search.
IT IS INSANE.
Everyone wants a goddamned free $199 apple gift card from squarespace.

I get ~300+ tweets of squarespace in an hour. ._.

the only thing i dont like about twitter is there customer support, they banned me and said i could have my account re-instated after 1 week... its been 6weeks and my account is still banned. I had near 1000 followers and due to being banned i have lost around 300, which sucks
