Website help

Hi,

I would really like some greens, as i have none, and ive seen all over exceem that making a website is a really good idea. Ive now made a website but want more traffic, so i thought seo would be a good idea. The only prob is i have no experience with seo and dont know which ones to trust or not.

Could anyone recommend any seo's and popular trust worthy ones.

The best thing you can do is teach yourself, for the most part most people on here would have tought themselves everything when it comes to website talk and its a good skill to develop.

Dont waste your money on SEO companies as many of them do di 'blackhat' techniques which could get your site banned from many of the major search engines

By the way, I suggest you make the picture link to your site in the sig a link, so that people can just click on it.

I would recommened heading on over to WordPress.com and getting a free blog, this will start you off with a ready to use web site but in a blog style.

Though you can create a page and have it as a static page on the front making it feel and look more like a web site then a blog.

I say this because it's clear your very new to all this and have basic knowledge of everything, with a free blog you can learn the basics of SEO and not mess up or screw your site up etc.

Take baby steps, learn and make sure you understand what your reading, if you don't then ask more questions, only way to learn and progress!

Oh btw there are loads of other sites that offer free blogs, once you find one and have one set up I'd get it straight in your signature here at eXceem.

I have to second all the teach yourself, as I don't think you'll ever have control of your own site if you don't.

best thing woth SEO is to learn it by experience like i'm doing By seeing what are keywords and content used to get the top ranked
