Want advice on t-shirt printing

Ok, basically I am planning on giving out a lot of business cards next weekend but was also going to get a t-shirt printed to make me look at bit less like a random bloke giving out cards and to possibly get people approaching me rather than me having to approach every person.

What I want a bit of advice on is the phrasing of the tagline on it.

I am planning on having the layout as:

Tagline
Image
Text

and for the tagline was going to be using either:

Win An Xbox 360
or
Win A Free Xbox 360.

I just want a bit of advice as to which you think is better. I did think that with the second one that people could think it is too good to be true because of the use of the word Free but I am not sure.

Thanks for the help,

Mackem.

I'm far from an expert, but are you handing out cards to try get referrals...or are you giving away a free xbox?!

Don't do it, you will just annoy 100's of people, do you like it when you out shopping/getting food or what not and people come upto you to give you flyers and get surverys off you and ****, lol.

I think that the 'win' bit is a bit misleading, but I don't really know what to tell you to put otherwise.

I think it would be ok if you just hand out to passers by, that way they don;t feel obliged to talk to you, and if theyre not interested can just ignore you and walk by.

As far as what to put on your T-Shirt, i would just have a plain T in black or dark blue, with your website in strikiing colours like pink or yellow, and large readable from a distance font

Should have explained it better.

They do have a chance to win an Xbox 360.
I am running a competition to win one on my site and to enter they need to sign up as a referral for me. So they can win an Xbox 360.

Again I would just have your website on the T, let the flyer and yourself do the talking.

BTW im no marketing expert, this is just my opinion

Instead of having FREE XBOX 360 on ur t-shirt have something like SHORT ON CASH? instead. Trust me, because ppl might see that and actually come to you. There may be jobhunters in town or ppl who want more money. But not everyone is after a games console.

What about a T-Shirt saying, "Ask me how to get a Free XBOX 360!"

Then you just stand there with your business cards and hand them to people who ask and you can tell them the key points too.
