Problems With Freebiejeebies On Youtube?

Hi guys,

i'm a newbie to the site. Was looking for your input. Last week i uploaded a video to youtube telling people about freebiejeebies.co.uk and i obiously included a link for my referrals. Youtube have now pulled this down citing a terms of use violation. As far as i'm concerned, i have done nothing wrong, i'm not scamming anyone into clicking my link by claiming to have hacked freebiejeebies. I have emailed them to ask why it was brought down but have yet to get a response. I was just wondering if anyone can give me some input into whether anyone has experienced similar problems or not. From what i can see there are still loads of others on their doing what i did and also scamming people with this hack nonsense.

I have tried uploading it again but they do not upload it and still claim its a violation?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jon, thanks for the quick reply.

It contained a step by step guide on what to do to sign up to the site and a brief description of how it works. I also included this in the text description for the video. It was all very low-tech done as credits on windows movie maker. There were no pictures or anything like that

Hmm..Once when i uploaded The Dark Knight for youtubers, My videos got put down. Dont worry, I have learned my leasson now . I tried to put them back up, but it didnt work. To put them up again, you just have to slightly edit your video and save it again (e.g changing a transition).

Hope this helps,
Ellie

Yeah i'd also suggest slightly changing the video and then uploading it again as tbh I'm not sure why it was deleted in the first place, unless someone's deliberately reported it just to try and get rid of the competition. Still don't understand why they actually removed it as there's tons of these videos on youtube.

I have like 3 Youtube accounts (one of them is dedicated to freebies) and my videos had never been put down.

Having changed the video slightly and removing the music, the video stayed up for about 4 hours before it was removed due to a "terms of use violation". I'm at a loss about what the problem is. I emailed youtube when my first video was removed to see if they can give me a specific reason as to why but i have had no reply. I have now received a "Community Guideline Warning Strike"!!! Whats that all about!

lol youtube won't take your videos down (they have more things to worry about) besides it doesn't conflict with their "user guidelines", and i don't see any copyrights issues either

I am interested where you have heard that youtube won't take videos down, as members have experienced them being taken down, as well as having accounts on youtube banned.

Sorry but you're wrong, perhaps you've been lucky but i uploaded the video a many times using differnt youtube accounts and it has been taken down about 5 times now AND i have also received a warning strike.

It might actually be that someone's reporting your video for some reason. Youtube generally doesn't remove videos that don't conflict the guidelines and/or copyright.

No, they haven't given any reason. Not to worry, i'll need to find other methods of getting referrals.
