Methods I use to get referrals.

Hi Exceem Fans, These are some methods I use to get greens, this may be useful for new people who are new accessing fj or any other freebie site.

1. Tell your family, friends, work colleagues to sign up, if they don't believe you, get something like a ipod shuffle and show them that. This was one of my first method I used. So any easy method.

2. This is the most rated and the most best to get greens with, email charity companies or game stores about fj. You can find out so many charities from
CharityPortal.org.uk - UK Charity Directory / searchable online database of UK charities . I got a secret site with full of stores and charity.

3. Advertise it on different forums like ps forums, add you site in the sig or make a topic, I tried it and got few sign ups with 2 pendings.

4. My friend tries this method, which is advertise it on myspace, bebo, facebook, hi5 and try emailing everyone in your contact book. (MSN or Yahoo)

5. Create a site like every one here, get it high in google, try to add it in your sig or spoiler and when everytime you post, you get backlinks with it too.

Most rated by who? What do you do, email charities to get them to do an offer? And how many greens have you got from this out of interest?

Most people use, I get around 1-2 pendings, lucky enough, maybe 1 green.

Is that not spam though, sending emails about it to people?

tell them to pass it along to the staffs and the customers. Show them the proof. I don't spam them.

Hmmm, not sure I buy that. Seems strange that any company would receive and unsolicited email from a complete stranger and act on it.

Seems a lot like spam to me. But hey, if it really works for you then fair enough.

well, some charities don't believe all this, you need to be sound like its legit instead of saying sign up, complete a offer and refer friends.

Yup, you can guarantee if someone says I have got 7 greens from emailing charities then everyone will start doing that and at least some people will end up on hold for spamming.

they are actually direct from waf's site too - not even saved as own
