Great Idear For Greens

Here is how i get lots of greens

1)go to your local newsagents or stationary shop that is in the highstreet or somewhare like that and ask if thay will put a poster in their window (they may ask for some small amount of money, mine did so i payed them £10 for 2 years which was a good deal.

2)this is a good idear i got form imootube is make a poster with little flaps on the bottom with your site URL on each so that they can tear one off to remember the site.

thats all i realy do apart from telling friends

its working great i have had 5 signups and around 250 views in about 1 day of advertising like this

Sounds like a good idea. Did you get those posters made online or locally.
If you got them online is there any chance you can share the url please

thinking these posters would work a treat in my uni.

no i just printed them on a photo copier at school (got told off for printing 200 igrabber.co.uk leaflets) but it worked and i would suggest makeing some poster say 100 and then makeing small virsion like handouts then you can print about 8 on a sheet of A3 and i wouldent get them online if i had to cos thay wanted £30 for 200 posters so i was like F that im printing them

ohh try to get good qality paper.

Just a comment to Joewarne and Rossi, while they may have been said light heartedly, when someone's making the effort to post a method to help others, pointing out mistakes and their spelling/grammar abilities isn't very nice!

I used this method @ uni to advertise a spare room in my house (put these tear off posters all over campus). Worked pretty well as a means of advertising. When I go back in october i'll give this a go/pay some skint first years to put them up everywhere for me.

I'm pretty sure they did this (tear off poster) on Prison Break series 2 to advertise a free ride to Iowa or something...
