can someone give me a list of ways to get refferals first being popular last being not that popular but they must work

I can tell you now that nobody is going to give you a list of ways to get referrals. Firstly, because people work hard to get referrals, and aren't going to give away a method that works, secondly, chances are if they post that method on here, it's likely to not work for much longer.

Have a read round the forums and consider getting exceem extra and you'll pick up tips from here. One way to start might be to create a website as it gives you more scope rather than just promoting your ref link everywhere

agreed. Too many people just seem to sign up, post a message or two and then expect the exceem magic wand to wave loads of greens their way.

How were you meant know that people would react badly if you sign up to a forum with masses of information and without reading around make a post asking people to sift through it all so you don't have to and give a list of all available methods and tabulate them in order of effectiveness (oh, and they must work - can't waste your time with methods that don't) for you before you even make any kind of contribution to the forum?

Is it really necessary to go mob handed in and all have a go at someone because they could have gone about requesting information a different way? Clearly it is very annoying to have new people to the forum request a free ticket to information that people have worked hard finding out for themselves. But surely Emma's post was enough to point him in the right direction without making him feel like he's just stepped onto the school playground!

After all this forum is here to aid and be helpful to people (family spirit) and not just to vent our own gripes at the nearest person who makes a little mistake. Steer a new member in the right direction and he could go on to be a valued member of the forum, blast him with insults and they are more likely to f' off and slate Exceem as a forum full of pretentious unhelpful people!!

Lets stop and think people before posting!!!

hit the nail on the head, since joining i've gone through the entire extra green tips, as in every page and looked at hundreds of threads. People on these forums are great and willing to help but they are not going to spoon feed you everything, gotta do the work yourself.

I have a great method though havent had the nerve to try it out...here it is....

basically, get a balaclava and write your website on it, then rob the nearest bank and wait till crimewatch shows your CCTV photos on national TV, showing your website

Write it across your ar*e cheeks and then streak at the brazil vs italy game being broadcast on sky tv this week, making sure that you run up to the nearest camera man and "give a wink" (if you know what i mean)

That should get you at least 100 greens and a public disorder sentence to boot !!

I'm with Funky. Fair enough their first post wasn't the most well thought out. But if they've signed up from someone's site that has the exceem logo and that it's the 'freebie community' then they're going to join exceem thinking it'll help them get greens. You shouldn't be soo hard on them just for asking for help, even if it could have been worded better. Emma's post pointed them in the direction they needed to go, every post after that was unnecessary IMO.
