link referal can be quite good, if you spend a fair bit of time every day revieing other peoples sites you will get yours reviewed too.

I used to spend a fair amount of time on there and got a good load of hits, I dont know if i got any signups from it though

I used to get the usual smart comments from people telling me that the free gift sites are all a con. These people will never be convinced

the thing about linkreferral is that most people arent interested in freebie sites so wont even really look at your site and most of the reviews I had were copied and pasted from people who obviously didnt even look at my site for longer than a millisecond.

I use them and blog clicker. I get a fair amount of traffic, and even a couple of sign ups, but no greens or yellows yet.

To answer your question it is a lot of work to get decently ranked and even then there are no guarantees much like the whole freebie scene in general!

You certainly get a few more extra people to view your site but in order to maintain your position on their ratings you need to visit everyday for around 20 minutes and view 30 peoples websites, review 5, write about a topic on their forum and add one website to your favourites. A lot of ask for a very small portion of potential customers.

I've been on there a few days and am enjoying it so far. I like the 'get out what you put in' factor it has. I've done a few reviews and try to go beyond just a couple of lines, I try to give an honest critique and it seems the more you do that the more chance you have of getting the same back. Until my site is in a decent position in the search engines, I don't mind spending a bit of time on things like this to get a bit more traffic and some feedback

You can't have put much into it then

I have been on there a week or so and have got 32 visitors

The least I try to do each day is to visit 30 sites. The chances of getting signups and greens are slim, but all traffic helps(if only to boost your confidence).
