Getting people to trust?

I need to get 21 referrals for the TV of my dreams!
So far I have 3 people signed up, 2 are not completed. I dont even know if they have completed the offer :\

Anyway, it is hard enough getting one or two people to trust the lovefilm.com offer. Never mind 21 people!

People either dont trust it or cant be bothered, it feels like your treading on egg shells with everything you say about it.

Like oh you sign up on there, but you have to give your card details.......but dont worry they dont charge you as it is a free trial. Oh and you also have to phone up and cancel your account after your trial if you dont want to carry on and pay!

By the time you have said that it as if they feel its to much hassle, its as if people simply cant be bothered.

Anyone got any tips on actually trying to convince people to do it??

Pay rthem the £5 to do the coral offer, that's what I did to get my first ffreebie.

£5 to 21 people? Thats £105. I only want to do this because I wouldnt have to use any money.

I know it wouldnt be exactly that much as not everyone takes that much convincing, but I would would still rather not pay anything.

Well I was kind of hoping not to spend anything, thats the whole point in this :\ The thing that is luring me to want this so bad is because its free.

The idea of an LCD HDTV doesnt excite me as much if I have to pay for it, the thing thats luring me in is that you get it for free.

Well you don't actually need to say to people about how they need to give their credit card details, or how they need to phone to cancel (in fact, you shouldn't be talking to your referrals about cancelling offers at all).

I always think more people are likely to convert into greens if you don't say anything negative at all and concentrate on the positives... such as what a great service Lovefilm offer, or how much money you won when you deposited just £5 on Coral/Gala etc etc. Imo giving any "don't do XXX offer" or "here's the draw backs of XXX offer" will only put people off.

I've told you before that an LCD TV would be tricky to get on your first go and have already given you the advice of getting something small first to help convince family & friends. It seems like you don't like that idea, so I was telling you the other way to convince people (Bribe!)

You see its human nature; people will think "What's in it for me?" if they have to do anything. The way you can satisfy that thought is by giving people money or the proof that they too can get a free gift.

You can get bank transfers, so if you pay £5 per green and cash out 21 greens (Going with the rate of £17 per green), you would make a profit of £252. I'm thinking that you wouldn't be dissapointed with that

Yer but I mean with trying to refer people I know.
I would get in serious trouble with a lot of them if they didnt cancel there account and they got money taken from there account.

I have only been involved with this kind of thing for days but already I am getting ignorant idiots calling it a scam, on one of my youtube videos someone said it...........

forget family and friends, get a website built and get it listed well in google.
ive had 6 max friends/family sign up for me out of the hunderds of greens ive had.

apart from 2 i paid the others to do the coral, then after that i was like wtf am i paying people to get a free gift lol. its then my first out of many websites was born.

convert your moaning into postitive thinking and get cracking with a website, its 99.9% of my green income.

How to get a free LCD HD TV!

Tell me, how do I get it on google, and how well do sites work? How much will the websites help me?

I know people say not to let this freebies game take over your life, but I have just got into it a few days ago and I am obsessed, I dont think I will start to rest until I get my TV :\ I cant help it, im not seeing my girlfriend this weekend so I have been constantly at the computer.

At the moment, I have printed our cards for my mum and dad to pass out at work (I feel that people will respect the offers more if it comes from my mum and dads mouth that they work).

I have made two youtube videos (people so these dont work that well, but I say every little helps) I have also just printed out leaflets which I mght try putting through a few peoples doors.

How much will this website increase the rate of greens I get?

You wouldn't be in trouble at all, I have done the Lovefilm free trial myself and they make it perfectly clear what the requirements are and when payment will be taken etc.

My advice still applies if you are referring strangers. If you are only drawing attention to the Lovefilm offer, I think you will be putting some people off. There is a variety of offers available and some people might be more interested in one of the other offers, so to only try to 'sell' one of the offers to me is restrictive. Personally, I think the way you are trying to advertise the Lovefilm offer sounds defensive and I would instinctively think there was a catch.

look at other peoples websites to get a feel for what you need to do, your site atm isnt going to get you signups at all even if you have 100+ hits a day m8.

you need to chillax slow down and concentrate on 1 thing at a time.
make a list of things to do and just slowly work your way through the list.
rushing, trust me will only lead to frustration. there are plenty of good free hosts (do a search on here) and im sure someone on here will help you design a nice simple site for you to build up.

but slow down dont let it take over your life and enjoy the ride on the freebie train.
