E-mailing 'not completed'. Worth doing?

Just wandering if it is worth the time emailing 'not completed' referrals? Has anybody had any success with this method. I just think that emailing them will just confirm their doubts about 'spamming' which probably put them off in the first place. If people have had success with this then it would be good to know.

I think people have had success. mine hasn't been to great, but I have managed to change a couple to completed.

You don't have anything to lose and everything to gain by doing it.

E mail them once they sign up, then after a few weeks e mail them again, if nothing, hey at least you tried.

Try adding them on MSN / Yahoo / Google talk too

just used them templates and sent them to all my referrals. only been 10 mins and had one reply already saying he is going to do the lovefilm offer tonight. So it does work. Whether he will do it or not is another matter.

if you use the templates on the second post, the subject line is stated.... "iPHONE SITE". I thought that was ok coz its not "too spammy" and it will make the receipient want to read it.

I done this last night and had a books direct pending within 10 minutes

I personally only email signups once a few days after that i don't bother them.

yeah i wont bother them again. If they dont want to do it, they dont want to do it.

i would also suggest adding them on msn. i got talking to one of them. tried to persuade him but he didnt want to enter any of his details which is fair enough. Got chatting to him and he is going for a big bro audition and needs a certain amount of emails as a petition or something, so i put his email on my site. he loved it! now he tells everyone bout my site! bit of free advertising in places i wouldnt normally think of! Might not be a green from him directly but could be possible future greens from his advertising??
