dowsett has a spectacular aura about

using fraps & posting youtube link

i was planning on doing somethin like this:

record my computer opening my ref link, clicking on a offer and going through the process to show people how easy it is to be done.

the only computer recording software i have used is Fraps to record my skills in computer games.

could i use fraps to record my standard desktop and internet browsers?

if not, could any1 recommend a different program?

then i can just use sony vegas to put the video together and upload it to my youtube and then just post that link onto my website etc

thanks for the help in advanced

Fraps is only for recording game footage

after doing a bit of googling I found (highest rated/most downloaded... from download.com)

HyperCam - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com

CamStudio - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com

Camtasia Studio - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com

Debut Video Recording Software - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com

Most of the downloads above save the videos as AVI, WMV or similar, so you could edit it with vegas.

I would recommend buying a domain name then redirecting it to your ref link, so it's easier to type in, and in your youtube description people are more likely to click it

I agree with everything Larkino said.

And I recommend Camtasia Studio, it's what I used to use.

I use hypercam (the first one in larkino's post)

And make sure that you compress your video in windows movie maker, after you have finished editing/rendering it in vegas - otherwise the file will be HUGE and it will take about a day to upload to youtube

I also agree with larkino's domain idea - but when you redirect it to your reflink, make sure that the domain changes in the address bar to your referral link and doesn't stay as your domain. This could be seen as "URL-masking" and get your account put on hold

Good luck with the vid

Years ago i used to use a program called snagit. I think that would record all the screen or just the parts that you wanted to record. i looked at it recently and it seems to have a months trial. I didnt join as I was waiting till I have an idea what I want to record, lol.
