Cool new way to get greens

Say you have a youtube video or a website on a traffic site where you make a competition so that whoever will give me a green will be entered. I would say that the competition will end when I have 20 referrals [and when my item has been verified] then I will randomly pick an email address from the list then they will win something good.[Haven't thought yet, maybe my ipod touch.] What does everyone else think? I think I will do it!

Its a good concept, but I doubt many people would sign up... it would seem like a lot of bother, for a 1 in 20 chance of getting an iPod...

A good way to go, is to make a good video that you reckon will get a lot of views, then stick a link to your freebie video/site

Like I've got 1,250 views on this video: YouTube - Robots (The Humans Are Dead) - Flight Of The Conchords

980 on this one: YouTube - Mutha Uckas - Flight of the Conchords

And 10 subscribers because of them, which means a lot more people see videos related to mine/videos by the same user, meaning more views on my freebie vids

I am putting katy perry, guru josh project and sugababes videos that are in my itunes library onto youtube. This might get some more views mightent it?

I tried this when i first signed up to exceem. i did not get any greensfrom it. or sign ups.

I'm pretty sure that you can use audio for other presentations so long as you don't show a video of the artist
so music with pictures are fine

ya, i tried putting up a new leaked rap song that i found to bring traffic to my tutorial but it didnt seem to work, however my tutorial video has like 140 views.

I'm not sure a competition would work, they have a bad stigma attached to them due to being heavily overused by the spamming industry. Attaching your link to useful or entertaining medias might prove beneficial though.

A while ago I decided I wanted to build a library of music videos on my computer. Ok i know it's wrong/illegal but may have found a torrent on pirate bay of ~120 gb containing over 2500 music videos. And so three weeks later I may have finished downloading the torrent. Problem is that I could spend ages putting them onto youtube and then chucking the 'get a free ps3 etc' details into the info section of the video but firstly I don't think it would be right to associate these reputable sites to these dodgy videos. Also at the same time it makes it easy to associate yourself to these videos. And so I personally haven't bothered doing it.

I was planning to edit a load of the videos and perhaps put an ad for the freebies at the beginning/ a banner at the bottom. Problem is I want to do it for a large batch and would prefer a way of doing it to a number of videos at the same time, so i could just go to bed and let it get on with it. Does anyone know how I can edit a batch of videos, or is there no possible way to do this?

Also uploading the videos will no doubt take ages, as here I only have 256k upload. But at my gf's she's got Be broadband and her upload speed is just over 1 meg. So if i were to do it, I would be better off doing it at hers.
