Re: Signups-greens ratio

I have 14 signups that consist of 1 user on hold, 5 yellows (with 3 (I believe) completed offers waiting to be credited) and 8 greens.
This has been done as a combination of trades and speaking to friends. I dont encourage them to sign up unless they are genuinely going to go for the ps3, I explain how they can get one, normally show them proof pages etc etc and tell them not to bother signing up unless they are going to complete an offer, I have a print out of all the offers that are available and I give them the sheet with my link on it for them to look at in their own time.
I dont have a site if those are the stats you are looking for.

Well I was achieving a ration of about 1:13, but it's dropped to about 1:16 this week

It also depends on your method, and how much you explain to people beforehand. Ie if you don't tell them that they're going to have to sign up for an offer, then they're likely to sign up to the freebie website but not complete an offer (causing a lower ratio).

That's a pretty good ratio... Mine is 35/1.

Understood. I explane the whole process too.

Haggisuk99, your way is probably the best way to go...

Thanks guys.

Never thought about this, but u say print out the list of offers, this is very good in trying to get some green revenue. Shall have to try it.

I find that by having a print of all the offers that are available it brings some brand recognition as when they see all the big names associated with the offer Like HSBC Bank, Love Films, Coral and all the others in nice bold colour it makes the offer seem less of a scam to them as otherwise all these big names wouldnt be involved.
Its just about the credibility and also they may be dismissive at first but if they have the sheet (which has your refferal link of course on it) then they may come back to it later, when they have time. Ive had 3 peeps flatly turn me down saying it was a scam and ive given them the sheet and a proof sheet and theyve signed up afterwards, Out of them 1 has gone green and the other says he has completed it but its not showing anything so.....
Also I pitch them very strongly into not signing up unless they are willing to do an offer otherwise some peeps will sign up and not complete an offer and think that they are doing you a favour in doing so and thats all they need to do to help you out, also means that I only get the genuine peeps onboard then, saves me looking at all the yellows and wishful thinking.

I think its all about the approach.
I always start of with, "hey (name) come and have a look at this for me, I want you to sign up for an offer and help me get a ps3 and in doing so you get a great deal and also the chance of a playstation yourself. have a look at these offers and tell me which one you would be interested in.

Then I let them look and absorb the offers and the name then i explain how the deal works and how they could get one too etc etc

I find that when you use the free playstation first it then seems too good to be true. Use the offers first and it is then easier to use the ps3 as the clincher on the deal

hope this helps you all.

Currently on Gifts.FJ my ratio is 1:50.
Not very good - it's so frustrating having so many red and only 2 greens!

Re: Signups-greens ratio

Trades and friends not counted! I ment just casual signups...

Quite interesting thread turned out... Info about the brands actually will help, I think.
