Getting Traffic

Could anyone let me in on how to get some traffic onto my site please.. =)

Search Engine Optimisation (basically making your site come up higher for particular keywords in search engines), among other things, will get traffic to your site. SEO isn't just plugging in a few lines or something, it depends on your website, so you'll have to apply it as it suits your site.

SEO is the way to do it
I would avoid these guaranteed traffic schemes as most only provide traffic which bounces off your site within seconds

The way to do SEO is to imagine you are looking for sites like your own and think what you would type into google - and bingo - you have your keywords which you need to make sure appear on your website

The easiest way to do it is to create a site written in plain English that explains how to get free stuff

Thats what search engines like as they are now getting more human-like

What so the tags will just be keywords that are searched in google and live etc. ?

Have you tried to get traffic via PTC sites (Paid to click), Coz you can get many views on them and also you have a 50/50 of getting some refferals aswell.....

IMO paid to click sites would have a much smaller chance of getting referrals than 50/50 as most people will just click through and not much, if any, notice of the site because they are only clicking through so they can get paid.

I doubt the ratio is anywhere near 50/50
I target my visitors quite well and still out of well over 100 visitors a day i only get on average 6-7 yellows each day. out of them 6-7 on ave 0.8 of them go green.

but obviously more people you can get to your site the more chance of a signup/green.

0.8 go green, does that mean you get no greens at all... or does 0.8 of a green mean a pending

it means out of every 15 on average i get 1 green.
so on ave 1 every 2 days
Your referrals (43 complete / 6 pending / 726 total) << that has been reset once so add another 15 greens for total average

11.34 average inc the pendings is my maths is half reet lol.

Like above you need to improve your seo of your site! Mainly Offsite seo helps! By this i mean link building with your specific keyword in the link text.

The more links you have with the specific keyword in the link the higher you will rank in google with this keyword!

Because of the nature of these sites it is hard to get people to link to these sites.

But what you can do is try

1. Link exchanges with similar affiliate sites.

2. Find dofollow blogs and "Comment" (Not Spam!)

3. Add your link to your sig in related forums

It also helps if the specific keyword is in your title tag!

well, how many do all of you? and then I can compare the differences between sites and how many greens people get etc
