As everyone knows we can't do the old eBay ads, however I am posting ads on UK sale sites (some good ones out there im sure you can find them).

However people seem to still bid, buy and try to offer you money without reading what the description says, even if it says "do not bid".

Why can't people follow simple instructions?

erm well i'm guessing its because they're on a site thats there for them to buy stuff.. not read ads from ppl like us.. hardly blame them.. i'm guessing you're advertising a popular item at a very low price.. which they'll see and want, why wouldn't they bid, they should need to read as i'm sure the ad shouldn't be there in the first place..

It's frustrating I agree, but the thing you have to remember is that people are going on there to buy things. It is resonable for them to think that the adverts there will be for things for sale. You are putting an adverts up with nothing for sale so you can understand the confusion.

I used to have the same problem, but as much as you think they are being stupid you can see wherethe problem arises.

Ok maybe "idiot" is a bit harsh, just a bit fustrated as all people have to do is read what it says.

Can't really blame people for posting on these sale sites, as you can get quite a bit of traffic back from them. And lets face it any traffic from somwhere is worth taking hold of.

And another thing, whats wrong with helping people with such a great offer... then helping yourself also.

How about lose that crappy method and find a new one? I just don't understand why people just go with the flow (although it ain't fast at all) and do things like eBay, youtube and websites, when they clearly don't work well. Instead of spamming your link think of your own method!

I used to use eBay back in the days that we had whole threads devoted to the best listings to use but that all died with pre-approved bidders. It's no longer one of my methods to be honest.

I'm sorry I have to disagree with you Ramba, if you just sit back and do nothing you are not going to get anywhere. If I did not advertise my site or use youtube I would have no sign ups at all.

I think with this whole freebie thing, it does take a bit of effort.
