![]() | Website AdvertisingWhere do people advertise their websites to get them hits? or is that a secret I have just made a website to try and get me greens, it's only been up a couple of days now and need to get traffic through it. I have put the link in my facebook and msn, but whats the best place? How do you get on Google? do bots etc find your site automatically? Thanks in advance Cheers Jay |

![]() | Re: Website AdvertisingA website is usually found when a search engine spider finds your link on another site and follows it. The main search engines that you should try and get your website listed in include: Yahoo DMOZ MSN Ask.com The majority of smaller search engines take content from the above so if you're listed in the ones I just mentioned, you're sorted. If you have another website, I'd suggest linking to your new one from there. That's what I do to get traffic to a new site. |

When I used adwords I typed the voucher code, and added £10 to my account and when it was all used up was given the option to deposit more, or to just leave the account 'paused' until I decided to add more in the future.

![]() | Re: Website Advertisingit would start charging but as soon a the voucher runs out just pause your ad campaign and then later on delete the ad campaign. Your account will technically still exist but wont be active so you wont get charged. |
