![]() | Internet Exporer is finally useful for something?I have heard Internet Explorer recommended as the browser of choice for completing offers. I am new to all of this but it seems that there are some compelling reasons for using IE for completing offers, and reserve a proper browser life FireFox for doing everything else. This is based on the fact that other browsers, such as FireFox, are inconsistent with the way they handle cookies; they should be avoided when completing offers. Does anyone agree with this view? Could it be that there is finally something that Internet Explorer is good for? |

![]() | Re: Internet Exporer is finally useful for something? It's semi true... Firefox and most other browers don't *fully* work. It's also how they show browsers and other parts of websites. IE seems to run most things well, but others are slightly dodgy. Eitherway, I use Firefox because I don't like IE for various reasons.... (Microsoft being one.) |

(being on a mac) with Firefox you can easily delete the cookies if you compared it to Safari -.- Besides, I had a look at my sister's IE (vista) I'm not liking it! rip-off of firefox :O |

![]() | Re: Internet Exporer is finally useful for something?dont like IE at all. one simple reason- the security is waaaaaaaay over the top. EG i somehow accidentally put something in a dreamweaver page meant if it was online you would have to let the site use active X if you were browsing it, and when previewing it, so ie is opening it from MY hardrive, it starts givin me crap about how MY webpage cant use active X when its being opened from MY documents, because it might pose a security threat. how stupid! |

I always try to keep in mind that Bill can't really be happy with his billions of dollars, multiple sports cars, private yachts/planes/trains etc(!) |
