thinkin about getting myself a website because i have no referals and need them despiratly, will this help and is it worth it?

I added the link to mu website to the signatures on some of the boards I am a member of. I've gotten a few yellows from it (I think) although none of them have gone green.

Quick question. although i don't have access to the trades forum yet. the site your trying to make.. are yu trying to put your needed referals on there for advertising that yu want to trade? cause im sure that would work if you put it in your sig, and also sounds like a good idea.. hmm, i may have to do that.

Can I ask why you are so desperate for refs. After all what you will be receiving will be for free, so I think a little patience is what is needed. There are no real quick ways to do this. It takes time, and effort to get anywhere.

Yes a website is a good idea, but you want to take the time to make it good and make sure it is SEO'd (Google it) What you want is for people to keep on coming, even after you have received the requirede amount of freebies. This allows you to change your links if necesary so you can keep receiving goods for free

honestly i'd think making your own website is just going to have the same effect as trafficing people direct to your refferal link. Just because they read it off a different site wont really change anything. I have found its best to point the towards these boards as a little reassurance that it isnt all just a scam

but your referral link doesn't come up on google when you search for free ipod/ps3, etc.

Whereas, with a website it is possible.

also to add to omairts post - if you have an explaination on your website how it works you are more likely to get a better green to yellow ratio

i signed up for freebiejeebies thinking it wouldn't take very long for 10 people to see there on a winner and i'll get a ps3! from what i can gather on this forum, it can take a long while. Is that always the case?

Your first freebie may come quickly cuz u can just get friends and family to do it, but from there on u'll just be relying on ppl visiting ur site etc, i've been doing this for a week now and i have 4 greens and 1 shud go green later from the delayed offer completetion which has taken place lately.
