Ok, so i have my website, which is a much better starting point for people than sending them to my ref link,

but i need to get some hits. Its on my msn, facebook, etc, but I need people outside of my friends group. My plan is to get some stickers with my website address on it, and a quick description, and stick them on lampposts, bus stops, etc in my local area. If the stickers came off easily, and left no residue, would it still be considered vandalism, or could I get in trouble for it?

Another thought is to put up those sign with the tags you tear off and take home. I've seen many around, but how long do they last before being torn down by the coucil or some yob?

Sign on telephone poles, like lost dog notices could work aswell, or a notice on the village noticeboard. What I am asking basicaly, is is it legal to do this, or is it considered vandalism, or littering. Has anyone tried it?

I'm sure of you asked your local newsagent or another shop keeper if you can have your poster up for a short while they wouldn't mind plus that wouldn't be vandalising either.

It could be considered vandalism in most areas - but you'd probably get away with it as long as you didn't do it so much that some goody goody person tracked you down via your website. Put your stickers in newsagents windows (quite cheap). Leave the odd one or two on the bus, train etc (by accident).

make some flyers and place em on car windows at the super markets, always a sure way to piss me off but least people will see ur flyer lol.
