Apology if this has been covered previously.

What are the real DO NOT's when it comes to getting referrals and greens.

I know each site has their own which include

DO NOT - Sign up more than once per address
DO NOT - Spam your referral link
DO NOT - Walk people through signing up
DO NOT - Sign up on other people's behalf
DO NOT - use auto forwarders

etc, etc

Are there any others that people should be aware of, be very useful to all newcomers. Nobody wants to have an account on hold.

do not have more than one sign up per ip (so dont let your mates use your comp to sign up )

do not tell people to cancel offers

do not sign up to an offer more than once ie lovefilm etc

No, you couldn't get either of your parents to sign up as they have the same address as you. You can however get either your bro or his wife to sign up from their address, but NOT both of them.

As for 'walking' people through, this means you cannot sit over a friends shoulder and pretty much sign up for them. They have to actively WANT to sign up and try out the offer, or else it becomes pointless as if everyone did this, the offer companies would notice and the freebie sites would lose out big time. Not sure how 'walkthroughs' are spotted though, thankfully i've never had to attempt to do that!!

Thanks for that, I know far too many people who live together, I could get all the referrals from just one house for some of the free stuff. I still can't work out how someone could tell if you walked someone through. Thanks again for clearing that up, I need to think a little bit more on who to ask

you will most likely be put on hold because you will have the same ip address , as stated above it is only one account per ip

bugger, 2 of my friends have signed up using the same PC.
It doesnt say on the real.incentives site you cant do that.....
Am i better off quitting then ?

no i wouldnt quit but it is quite likely that when you verify those 2 referrals may go on hold so you might wanna consider getting 2 extra refs to cover it , however i dont know what real-incentives stance on i.p's is but in general accounts with the same i.p get put on hold

OK thanks, one of the people who used the same PC did the gala bingo offer and has been approved so hopefully this will be OK........the other is on hold....fingers and toes crossed....

you wont know for certain until you actually click verify but its always best to get a couple extra refs to avoid having to wait till the next verification imo.

only just noticed you saying this. Does this mean if I did Gala on ps3 freebies I couldn't then do coral on apple freebies? and further to that, why can't you do both?

Thats right, the reason for this is Coral and Gala is run by the same company and once you have registered with one it recognizes you've already got an account on the other.

Referral sites don't get paid and you don't get a completed offer.
