hi all
ive been looking on your site for a couple days now and see alot of you do your own websites etc to get that elisive green and basicly i would like a few hints how to go about it as ive never done anything like that before.
it would be much appreciated if someone could give me a few tips.

I think the best thing to do is look at some of the sites listed in some members signatures and get some idea of what might work.

You will get some different ideas that way

cheers m8 do you mean the bold big lettered links also is there any free websites that i can build my own.
god i sound a numpty but i only use the pc to look at websites not to build one so its new to me

Freewebs.com - Free website, free hosting, free webpage - Make a web site with photo albums, blogs, videos, forums and more! is a free site. It's cheap and cheerful but it's free and will give you something to practice on before you maybe move onto a site you pay for.

i had no web making experience...freewebs makes everything so easy you could train a chimp to do it.

Have a look at my webpage below to see the results. it doesnt look unbelievably amazing but it does the job. just make sure you make your website easy to navigate and read

I would say just muck about with freewebs for a while, then try and get some webmaking software and teach yourself some of the basics. Also try and find tutorials on the web on site making etc

I've only just built my sites and still waiting for for my first referrals, but my top tip would be keep clean and simple, give the visitor plenty of information and do some research on how best to get your page rank as high as possible.

Failing that stick your URL on your signature and do lots of postings on forums (making sure your not breaking the forum rules by posting links to referrals sites)
