As you can all probably see, recent threads promoting the breaking of ebay's rules by whatever means have been closed!

Those of you who do ebay auctions know that there have been a clampdown on the type of auctions that last the course, and those that are ended early!

Just as an example, doing a search on yahoo this morning provided me with three exceem threads all promoting the breaking of ebay's terms and conditions, as well as Google nicely providing me with plenty of guides on how to get xbox's, ps3's, wii's, all of free of course, with some muppets even generously providing links to exceem as proof!

As I said in another thread all it takes is someone to have a link in their advert to their website, which also has a link to exceem, then for a potential bidder to visit exceem, (as people do judging by the number of newbies recently) and decide he/she doesn't like what he sees and report us to ebay!

It might seem far fetched, but stranger things have happened and it could result in the closing of the site! Rather than having this happen, we will be taking action to close/delete all threads concerning such methods over time, although this will take a while judging by the number of threads I've found by doing a search on here!

It would help though if people could refrain from making any new threads regarding ebay though please!

Also, we will clamp down on anyone who does persist in making threads regarding ebay!

probably silly suggestions, but maybe remove ebay as one of the popular tags at the top of a sub-forum, or disallow certain threads on the robots.txt file so that searching yahoo/google does not give them at hits?

Funnily enough I only found out about exceem by being referred to it from an e-bay listing.

Some people still use ebay as a referral method but that is up to them if they lose thier ebay accounts, or if someone bids £1,000,000 on thier advert listing minutes before it finishing, they have one hell of a final price fee and you dont have to pay as the listing is against the rules.

I tried it but didnt know about the rules (havent been on ebay for awhile) and they took my listing of but refunded my money I found this site through a search engine by accident.

i was wondering how the h**l they sell them for like 0.01p buy it now,i can only do a minimum of 99p buy it now.i think theres that many loopholes in ebays listings that people get away with all sorts on there.

He wasn't talking about listing freebies on eBay. Just the fact that the people that do can put them up for 1p but the lowest he can list something for is 99p.

i think it is the amount of feedback you have , as you get more then more listing options become avaliable to you

there aint that much just stuff like one day option and multiple buy it nows i dont know what else i dont really use ebay anymore that much so it might have changed

nice one.... year ago, when i find out about free ipods and other stuff, i was using Ebay for searching refferals had not bad feedback about 150 got ipod... and when Ebay became strict my account was blocked and now i can't use my card to open ebay account now i'm searching for new way to get refferals (legal one lol) couse i got interested in this stuff again (need laptop badly for studies lol )

I know i'm new but i found out about referral sites from friend, who happens to be a trader.
