giveaway green time....


Hi,

I am just a little concerned, as it appears that the lovefilm offer goes green almost instantly but any othre offer you have to request a manual green.

I have reffered close to 100 people on both 360 and PS3 and i have hardly any greens - and the greens i do have are all lovefilm.

I am worried that refferals have completed other offers but have not been credited, and probably just think its a con and give up and dont bother getting a manual credit.

Tab - can you offer any reassurance on this matter?

Aanyyone feeling the same as me, or are you seeing other offers being completed and going green?!

I've had a Jackpot Joy and a Fasthosts offer go green about a fortnight ago. Could perhaps just be that your yellows are only going for the 'free' ScreenSelect offer?

All offers are crediting fine, LOVEFiLM and before that ScreenSelect are definitely one of our more popular offers though.

I have two signups that I know have choosen the new LOVEFiLM offer, watched one person do it and he has already recieved DVDs, and the other person i walked through it. Neither have been credited instantly so now youve worried me! Nearly been more than the 5 days...

arghh - this 5 minute edit thing is well annoying.

I just wanted to add that - the reason i asked in the first place is becasue i had to get a manual credit for chit chat on PS3 and so did a a person i traded with who did jackpot joy

I hate to have to mention this as people over react and panic, and some also try and take advantage. But with honesty in mind, we added LOVEFiLM to our site Friday evening but due a mistake at LOVEFiLMs end, the tracking code wasn't actually tracking users completing the offer. LOVEFiLM fixed the problem Monday afternoon around 4'ish. So anyone completing the offer from Friday evening when we added the offer till Monday afternoon won't have been tracked. These people will just need to raise a support to receive manual credit, they will need to show that they signed up between Friday and Monday. The confirmation email and an account screen shot will be fine.

I can only apologise for this, but unfortunately the situation was out of our control.

Well that sucks. Can i raise the support ticket myself? I know the accounts that didnt get credited. Or if I pm you could you help me out?

When did you know about this? Surely you should be warning people about this as that is a potential loss of 2-7 greens for me.

hey, ive had people on msn telling me they have done the offer but they havent gone green yet.
have Giveaway been updating recently? Or will they be updating soon?

I had someone sign up for me on screenselect, 8 days ago, and i've still not been credited for this yet, admittedly the person did not put 10 films in right away, but this was done on Monday evening.

The person( a colleague) wanted to try this to try and get his grandson a 360, but he is not very confident on the net as it is. He is also retired, and only now learning the internet(age 66)

So how can I help him get his credit, and also for me to get mine?

Another friend did an offer as well, but don't think I'll be able to get his credit, as he is now away in far off lands, for the next 4 months!!

Hope someone can help, as this would make me ever closer to completion!!

I find updates normally happen after 10pm daily if that is of any help.

I didn’t believe it necessary to make an announcement for the following reasons:

1) It was only 2 days and people would have logged a no offer credit report asking for manual credit like normal when the credit didn’t come through.

2) Unfortunately whenever you announce something like this people take advantage of it, and the fact that those people who did actually complete the offer would have logged a ticket in the normal course of things meant that the there wasn’t any need.

Anyone who completed the offer over the weekned just needs to raise a support ticket attaching the confirmation email and an account screen shot. We unfortunately can't deal with people about their referrals who haven't gone green, as it would be to easy to take advantage of. We need to speak with and see proof from the actual people.

All offers are tracking and crediting OK. There are numerous reasons why an offer that is tracking OK may not get credited automatically. This is the internet after all. I have mentioned before some reason why, but I'll quickly recap.

Browser issues at the time of completing the offer: These include but are not limited to the browser not accepting the advertisers cookie either because it got corrupted somehow, the browser didn't accept it because of security settings, or because of some third party software like Mcafee Internet security which will block third party cookies, and tracking pixels from advertising sites.

The user could have left the offer site and returned to it later but not going through the link on my sites.

The user may not have completed the offer successfully.

The user may have already been a member of the offer site in the past, in which case they are not a new user and we will not get commission for them.

Unfortunately although tracking works perfectly 99% of the time, there is no way for it to be fool proof.

Hi Tab,
I am waiting for credit on JackpotJoy at the moment, I have raised a support ticket and Lisa has responded very quickly. However, she has asked for screenshots of my account balance and withdrawal history. As my account balance is £0, it doesn't actually show up anywhere!! Also, I haven't made a withdrawal so there is no history...

So I'm not really sure what screenshot I should send. If you could help me out I will reply to Lisa on the support system.

Not wishing to push in on another networks forum, but Mica I think a little understanding wouldn't go amiss. Unfortunatly the nature of these networks are governed on other websites working properly. I received the same notification about the issue at 12pm and he posted at 12.12pm: so I think some praise is in order for tab. You can sleep easy knowing that he's on the ball.

Ah well looks like there was a slight misundertanding - I wasnt aware that you network owners only found out after the problem had happened, I thought you knew during the problem, i.e You kept the offer up despite knowing that no-one would get credit.

Asking about the warning was therefore a bit diferent, seeing as there would have been no gain for the network without the commission, and big losses for the Giveaway customers. So I now take that back!


Also yeah I'm sure Tab and his crew will sort me out! Probably got a fair few no credit support tickets to deal with now...

Hope no-one has taken any offence!

You will be able to get screenshots of deposits, withdrawals and transactions. The "transactions" one shows both deposits and withdrawals in it so the support guys will be able to see you have deposited your money and havent withdrawn it.
