I'd like to contribute too please. I think it was extremely generous of Furbs to give up his time like that.

This is to do with the bankrupsy of GiveAway Network.

There were many eXceemers who had ordered gifts and never received them. This is a meeting regarding the company and good ol' Furbs is looking to represent those who had ordered gifts and hopefully get GiveAway to make good their word.

Furbs attended the insolvency meeting in London on behalf of a load of Exceemers (it's what this thread is about). There's now a whip round for Furbs because he took time off work and paid for his travel there/back, in order to help others out.

Edit: Damn, beaten to it!!
Double edit: At least I knew the meeting had already happened!

not sure of whats the best way to do the whipround , do we just get furbs paypal addy and send him something, or do we use one of ours and then send to furb.
i allready have furbs addy on my paypal account so im more than happy to act as the banker and then post proof on here of what was sent to furbs

Sending to Paypal would be the best, or Furbs could open a Justgiving account and pick a charity that people could donate to on his behalf.

I'll also chip in. I've not been affected by the demise of Giveaway but have been following the situation and it's very kind of Furbs to give up his time to attend the meeting and answer questions on here.

Thanks also to Jon and anyone else who has helped keep us up to date with the situation.

Just say "I believe I am a creditor of Fusion Media Ltd because....." and explain what they owe you. Letter or e-mail should do it.

hi guys ive been inactive here on exceem for quite some time, but noticed the giveaway networks insolvency a few weeks ago.

Basically, i was owerd £92 for 4 greens (i know its not a huge amount but hey) and am unsure as to the state of proceedings. I am aware its very unlikely ill see any money headed my way, but have emailed the address given by Furb above. (Again thanks alot for all the work youve done

Is there any new information or is anyone aware of whats happening with GA then?
THanks
