Suffice it to say, there is no realistic chance of people getting their money.

Why can't all the details be posted? Surely everybody involved has a right to know?

Wow. To me this is all a scam now, the first thing I try to getI do everything and get nothing. So far I have no reason to carry on and probably won't, how'd I know this wasn't all staged…

Don't lose faith! I don't think anyone could have seen this coming, they always used to be such a reputable network.

Rue, but it took me longer than usual, never trading and relying on YouTube so it was authentically free, I wasn't even comfortable giving credit card details, especially not twice. That's why I won't make that mistake twice.

Dont be naive. All businesses go under at some point. I lost my first gift to Giveaway, and felt like you, but I picked myself up and have had £556 worth of stuff since. It would have been £856 if GA hadn't runaway!

After a quick chat with FurbtasticM I still have a couple of quick questions, but in short it would appear that salary's drawn in one past financial year were excessive. It is also evident that the Inland Revenue were not paid (any or some??) income tax for the salary's paid, as well as some cooperation tax. In cases of insolvency the Inland Revenue are always front of the queue and with the bank balance being pretty much zero any monies generated from sales of assets etc would be allocated to them first with no chance of any other creditors being paid what they are due (looking at one document a wholesaler and courier were listed as a creditor)

People will find this fustrating, how ever any talk of "revenge" or similar will not be tolerated.

I hope to add more facts soon, but i'll await on some advice before I do.

so in 13-year-old terms, did they just not pay tax and it went wrong from there?

I'm assuming it means they didn't have enough to pay tax on employees salaries and now they owe the tax company money for the tax they did not pay.

and paid themselves too much by the sounds of it.

brynrob, sign up with freebiejeebies. I just verified for a few small bits this morning, they are fast, reliable, friendly and trustworthy! Rich and Alex do not aim to make thousands of pounds from you, they are busy at other jobs too and so are stable.
