![]() | feel totally let down by Giveaway Put all my eggs into one HDTV.Giveaway basket after trusting them since I received my only freebie a Wii from Nextgen. Have been slowly slogging away for 32 greens from trades and friends and family for a year and half. Gutted for everyone but still hoping we all get our gifts somehow? if only so I don't have to explain to the wife that I have been ripped off by one of my schemes again |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Isnt there anything at all that can be done if everyone who's lost out groups together? If an employer went bust the employees would still expect to be paid. It may not be the same in this scenario but the principle is the same. I haven't lost out myself but my heart is bleeding for the people who have. Has every possible avenue been fully explored? |

as far as i can tell, all responses (few and far between they have been) have just been copy and paste jobs its impossible for anyone to know whats happening until they say something because many people are simply getting screwed out of hundreds of pounds with no explanation ~ which shouldn't be allowed to happen the assumption that has to be made, and is the most rational, is that they have "cut their losses" and simply disregarded tens or hundreds of loyal members with no hint of an explanation offered

| iPod 30gb | Hmmm think this is a bit of an overreaction personally. Still the same situation as it was yesterday. Its not like we should all give up hope, they are still a company and I am still going to try and get what I am owed. Anyway its not like a surprise they've become unsupported. Bit of positivity people!

Im afraid imo i don't see a positive ending unless something is done, i don't think GA will just decide to come around. Sitting back most likely won't get you anywhere on this occasion.

| iPod 30gb | I agree with all of that, however (please correct me if I'm wrong) it seems to me that Giveaway has maybe picked up in the last couple of months compared to the two months before that. All be it from about 1% speed to 2% speed but see what I'm getting at. Add to that the fact I have about 45 greens at stake. I can't just forget about that.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | GA no longer meets the high standards expected of supported networks and eXceem would be wrong to encourage people to use them in the current circumstances. That is why the situation is now different after the removal of supported status. Whether they continue as a business is an entirely separate matter, outside of the control of eXceem.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I completly agree with the decision, I clicked verify over 3 months ago now, and with one thing and another they've just weedled their way out of giving me my gift. I've clicked verify again today, but I'm still really annoyed. It was going to be my first gift. As it is, I've had something from freebiejeebies in the meantime.

| Mr Baldy Chicken | what I fail to understand is the length of time taken to reach this decision. |

![]() | My first ever gift was a 360 + game from GA. I took a year off from freebie hunting until last December. I went with GA as I always saw them as an entirely safe option and offering just slightly better value than the other top networks. I honestly can't believe this has happened, especially as the decline started when I re-commenced freebie hunting. I'm also very dissappointed how it's taken this long for this to happen. Six months of zero action, where you to try to be patient (note my very few posts on this matter) because apparently the owner has bigger problems, despite the fact it would have been completely understandable to be, at best, very suspicious and, at worst, livid (given the numerous fobbing-off antics and contradictions). The question is, what now? Is there even a 'what now'? Can we actually do anything? At the very least I want an update from GA, either an assurance or that 1% hope erased. If it has got to the point where exceem itself has admitted they cannot be trusted, then there isn't as much for GA to lose. This is why people think all this is a scam. Where even an established, top network can shaft you over. It's entirely understandable that business is bad, but members have to be informed of this with plenty of time in hand. Wilful ignorance and what now looks like us being fobbed-off means that it's entirely possible we've deliberately, mischievously misled. I think that's the nicest way of putting it. |

![]() ![]() | It's a shame, but I think we all saw it coming. I chose the worst time to start using them, got 6 out of 10 people for a PS3 for my friends 21st, one hadn't managed to spend all of his credit on reverse bid before all the auctions disappeared so don't know whether that'd be considered a green. Hope something gets sorted. It's a bit disappointing that through all this we've had no word from tab, but I don't know what the situation with him is, so can't really judge. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | My first freebie was for GA - a 16GB iPod Touch that I'm sitting listening to just now. I joined them from a referral as I thought they looked the most trustworthy site at the time. I've got 3 greens at the moment, and sent in a custom order quote about 3 weeks ago to try and use them up, but it looks like I'll just need to leave it. It is a shame, but I think other networks like FJ, RI and Kudos have been more active in keeping up with what freebie hunters want, and that's why they are now more popular.
