Does this sound right?

I am aware that Giveaway are going through some tough times at the moment but I received this strange reply to my request for a bank transfer of 20 refs on their HDTV site;

We only allow custome order requests for 4 refs or less.

Does that sound right to everyone as I am sure others have had bank transfers and custom orders from Giveaway for more than 4 refs?

I'm sure in the past plenty of people have had a custom order with more than 4 refs.
Maybe they've lowered it because of the problems they've been having at the minute.

Surely though, if that is a recent change to their terms, then it must have happened after I had 4 refs so I had no chance of complying with it

Do you think they will show any leniency on that point?

I remember another exceem user having the same issue just after the new T&C's appeared, and I don't remember there being any good news for you I am afraid but I can't find which thread it was in.

Giveaway would not allow me to change my obsolete LCD customer order to the new model which was a few more greens, they seem inflexible around custom orders now. I think your only option might be to pick the nearest standard item on the site and requesting a Bank Transfer for 90% of its value.
