![]() | Mate I would not hold your breath on this one. I mistakenly opened two accounts, one that I have gained 6 greens on and the other I have done nothing on. They said they can not do anything as it breaks the rules. I was really annoyed that they have received commission and I have nothing. Common sense doesnt exist at GA |

![]() | Sadly GA have replied to the ticket sent in by my mother in law and the one from my brother in law and said no way! Quite pathetic really. I understand and respect the rules, but this was an honest mistake, and was brought to the attention of GA. I can understand why the rule exists, but common sense should be used in cases such as this. So GA get paid for 2 referrals and don't have to pay out anything for it. Who are the scammers now? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | calling them scammers its OTT, but i can understand the frustration of it as ive been there with giveaway myself. i once lost the signup which my father did, but at the same time the rules are set for a reason and if everyone cried sorry i didnt realise etc then all the real scammers would get away with it. And with the obvious money flow issues atm giveaway will keep any greens they can to recoupe quickly.

If they let you keep these two referrals they would have to do it for everyone wouldn't they. You say common sense should be used in cases such as this, do you not think there have been cases similar to yours before? It would be quite easy for someone to sign up twice and say it was two completely different people to try and get two referrals (i'm not saying that is what you've done, i believe you), but looking at it from that point of view you can see why the rule is there and why they won't budge on the matter and for all the scammers that are out there, they shouldn't be expected to.

![]() | Somehow i think you are missing the point. I have read on another recent thread on here that GA did exacly what was asked. They are not asking for both accounts to be kept live, but just the one. neither of these folk are even bothering gathering referals for themselves, If I were a scammer here I would be using the accounts of my Brother and Mother in law to get me another 2 PS3s which i am not. Also if you read this thread, it would seem that other networks like FJ are more than happy to sort this kind of honest mistake out for their customers that earn them money. I know nothing of any money worries at GA and that is more than likely just speculation I will be taking what seems to be the common advice on here and moving to FJ. I will also advise anybody else wanting to go for this sort of thing to do the same. I am going to get my brother in law and mother in law to give it one last try, but I am scrambling around to get the last 2 referrals for my PS3, if I end up with 12 then hopefully i can get a custom order for a PS3 and a game or something like that.
