Sent in a ticket to GA with regards to pending offers that have been sitting for around 40 days.

GA (lisa) says that they have been experienceing delays with confirmations from Lovefilm, and have asked that i get all of my referrers to send in a ticket to them with evidence of their account and a copy of their rental list so they can do a manual update. Not fair and not feasible for me to bug all my referrals further who were doing me a favour and are not interested themselves in getting a free ps3.

why is it that other networks are not experiencing delays in getting confirmations from Lovefilm? I think this is a crock of bull and that for some reason GA are creating problems for bonefide people like me who have legitimately got the 10 referrals needed. So that they dont have to send me my promised ps3 and keep their side of the deal.. Hugely dissappointing, am starting to believe this company is seriously on the ropes.

In my view GA are pooing all over the Lovefilm brand, lets face it, they are using their branding to get folk like me to do the referrals and thereby earn GA money from Lovefilm and then they are blaming Lovefilm for me not getting my greens!!! - if i believed their hype I would be well pee'd off with lovefilm and it would ensure i never used that brand again. Not what Lovefilm want I am sure, to be associated with such a dodgy outfit.

If they were having problems processing the update files from Lovefilm or they had become corrupted at the GA end, they could simply request another copy file from Lovefilm. Would love to be proved wrong on this one. One thing for sure, I wont be giving up quietly!!!

Most networks auto update LOVEFiLM pendings to green after 28 days and will get paid by TD on that basis.

However, GA don't auto update for some unknown reason and I agree that it is simply not practical to ask every pending to e-mail the network. Why should we anyway if after 28 days GA's income is safe on the transaction?

Someone will no doubt correct me if I am wrong but this is another big frustration in using GA right now.

Don't really like to reply in threads about another network in regards to complaints, but stuck waiting for pendings that are 50 days old - 4 of them (3 books, 1 VC bet) all completed on the 29th November....

Had a canned response from Lisa last night which was completely unrelated to the question I asked....... getting a bit frustrated now, Books Direct update weekly and yet ive been waiting 50 days since they completed an offer. Got 4 pending which I need to turn to click verify....

Had forgotten that I could check referral dates via MyGiveaway.

I have a whole load of LOVEFiLM pendings (20 on SonyPS3 and 16 on NextGen) that go back as far as 9th December 2008.

Time flies and I lost track at my age but that means....49 days....

Whoa 49 and 50 days?! That is a hell of a long time to wait. I always send in a ticket after a ref goes pending cause i know they wont go green otherwise. But it helps all my refs so far have been friends or trades so at least tickets with proof can be sent, cant exactly do that for signups though websites

Doesnt give me much hope thta my custom order request is gonna be sorted anytime soon either.

Hope you guys get it sorted soon.

I can't really ask 36 random referrals (from site traffic) to lodge support tickets.

And if TD approve the referral after 28 days unless revoked, then we shouldn't need to?

I got the same reply from Lisa about this subject too with 'by the user concerned.' highlighted in bold. I have 2 pendings, one from December. So for now I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and I've emailed that referral to see if I get anywhere. But won't hold my breath. I've already updated my sites that have GA links to freebiejeebies ones, but I've not uploaded them yet. I'm not loosing too much if I switch as I only have 1 green, and 2 pendings, both are Lovefilm PAYG. I also have the Lovefilm PAYG on a Kudos site so I'll see if that updates ok.

same here mate they go back until 9th December. It's not on really if they have been paid already then they have no excuse whatsoever and they should not be allowed to reverse them at a later period either as that should also have been done already. On that point, I think nearly all of the benefits that giveaway had were off-set by the ridiculous amount of reversals in comparison to other networks.

My understanding is that TD automatically approve after 28 days and wont reverse it, meaning it is secure income for the network.

The ratios still made it worthwhile for me, it's the support side and things like the pending updates that put me off.

I voiced this problem a while ago when a VC was pending for way longer than it needed to be. I was told i needed to get my ref to send in a screeny.

This annoyed me as i don't see any other networks requesting screenshots for pendings ... Oh and just to hijack this thread a little, my account has been "getting verified" for almost a week now, yet it still says that it will be "upto 24hrs" on their page.

Well I have 2 VC bets pending, one from Nov 20 2008 and one from Nov 27 2008, thats like 63 and 56 days pending...

I had one on Nov 19th too but its went back too yellow, he will be doing a support ticket soon though, what's the chances of getting a yellow going back to green?

What gets me is that GA make their money through the hard work of folk getting refferals done. They get paid and don't seem to be passing anything back to the people doing the hard work. It is like an employer not bothering to pay their workforce.

Smells like cash flow problems to me.

The Bull on the site xxx me off as well, all this utter rhubarb about verification taking up to 24hrs and it actually taking weeks in some cases, and the bull about offers completeing in 10 working days, when it is known to take 28 days.

The verification and shipping delays also point to cash flow problems to me.

Well I know that Books Direct once took me 4 months pending (not on Giveaway though) so it can be a strange one.

For those concerned about cash flow I just did a quick credit check. I won't set out all the details on a public forum other than to say that the checker we use says that overall they have "Good creditworthiness".

There are one or two things that could be argued to detract from this, but generally we advise that you can only proceed on the basis of what it does say, not what it doesn't, so I would take some comfort from the above.

I have pendings from Dec 9th. This is a worry as I imagine newbies to the freebie scene would just give up and call it a scam rather than submit support tickets. I know I would if this was my 1st experience.

I have signed up to GA but never referred to them so I don't really have much to say about the service but from what I have read I don't think I will be starting using them any time soon.

p.s. What happened to the stats in your sig furbs. Blew up the server again with the amount of greens you get???
