I had a brilliant response to one of my reversals, yet someone who was reversed on me (both VC bet) has been waiting a week! (or not done it!).

Also I'm getting really sick of LoveFilm, I have 3 people pending from 9th January... Ridiculous.

I'm sure they'll sort it, but it's taking forever.

Agreed furb. I thought I would give them the beneit of the doubt thinking that it is feasably that the problems could be an Xmas hang over.

It's getting a little silly now. I have had a support ticket open sinse 7 February with no response and 5 love film pendings sinse about 10 January.

I am starting to lose hope. If we knew what the situation was/is at least we could possibly simpathise or continue to be patient. Being left in the dark is only making the situation worse.

no doubt giveaway have made a bundle from people leaving 3 or 4 refs because they cant be bothered to wait months for a reply (me included)

no just get headaches, that is a lot of money to lose if it does turn the bad way. This is my first gift from giveaway. i chose those because i heard they were good (before i found exceem)

when i joined here Tab was on and there seemed no problems. as soon as it came down to 10/10 the problems came. users went on hold. pendings dont go green. NOTHING goes green. we've asked whats going ont hey always say end of the month we will be back up to scratch. this was end of jan now its end of feb. still doesnt look good.

ive just sent in another ticket asking about furbs pending he gave to me and another one for jackpot joy i got a friend to do incase the pending fell through. still nothing. I am sure jpjoy should be green by now.

i started this thread sticking up for giveaway, try to get answers, seems like what they say is just to give them more time. enough is enough! i can no longer be open minded about this situation.

My longest pending lovefilm is Jan 6th. I still trust GA and am sure they'll come good but am concerned that my refs will give up on this and think they've been scammed which makes me and my site look dodgy.
I now have 12 greens and 5 pendings - enough for the iPhone, but it looks as though I'll have to wait 3 months to see what will happen to the pendings, then wait ?? months to verify and see how many get reversed, then start the whole process again!!
In the meantime I think I'll change my ref links to FJ.

I got this from Lisa yesterday:

We are working hard to clear all backlogs. Lovefilm, however, prove to be consistently late with their updates. Although we are trying to speed these along, they seem only to be updating once a month. The next update is due within the next week.

If a user requires a manual update sooner than this though, please ask them to contact us directly, attaching a copy of their dvd rental page - a manual update will then be processed.

Do GA have a different agreement with LOVEFiLM than all of the other networks (who automatically update pendings after 28 days without reports)?

I also understand there may be some technical issues due to the number of servers that GA run but they have alwasy been able to overcome coding problems in the past?

But also struck me that LOVEFiLM updates has absolutely nothing to do with sorting out custom orders or hitting the few buttons it takes to send my bank transfer

None of the networks as far as i know update without the reports, it could prove costly if for any reason there were changes in the way Lovefilm or tradedoubler handled these leads. The 28 day pending status is an agreement between Lovefilm and Tradedoubler, not between Lovefilm and the network. So it is consistent for every network.

An example:

One Lovefilm lead completed on 1st January. Tradedoubler initiates the pending status once the lead has come through. On the 29th January, assuming lovefilm has not updated the report themselves before the 28 days, Tradedoubler will update the 28 day old pending to Approved.

The autocreditor then picks this up on the search and credits the correct account on day 28.

I'm sure a simple CronJob for reversals could be run daily to allow these approvals to credit on the day it is approved....
