You know us Freebiehunters though Jon, when delays start happening we get very nervous. And to be fair, when you look at everything collectively, including the timing of payments/gifts being sent and the lack of LOVEFiLM autocrediting, you can undertand why we might speculate.

I wouldn't mind speculating that FJ aren't far off, especially after recent events.

How long do we stay patient before it is time to start worrying again?

Backlog was supposed to be cleared by the end of January according to original post, so there are obviously further delays for whatever reason.

yep getting worried again myself especially since the new custom rules were announced. Have 31 greens of 32 for original custom, but that LCD is all but obsolete now. Was gonna just keep earning the greens till the new Sony's LCD's are released in March which are bound to be a few hundred more expensive, but no point unless GA answer my ticket re my situation.

not sure if I should get a quick green, verify and hope that I get the bank transfer, but to be honest don't really want the cash as will cost a few hundred extra which I have not got to get the telly I want

Being a newbie I am puzzled as to how people manage to get 31 referrals?!? I only have 4 greens so far out of a required 10 and already I am struggling to get more people!

well i got a reply that makes no sense to my question but it was a reply at least:

All gifts are scheduled for delivery at the end of February. Unfortunately, we have incurred delays, both from our affiliate parnters and from a Christmas backlog.

We have worked to resolve these problems, and are processing orders for delivery in two weeks. An exact delivery date will be given on your account status page over the coming week or, alternatively, in any ticket that has requested a custom order and is currently with Shipping.

Meaning the people who pay them (and who pay all the other networks, who didn't stop sending gifts out).

Hmmm..... Seems a bit of a coincidence that just hours after Claire posted to say she'd had no reply to support tickets for 8 days, she gets a reply. And the reply wasn't even related to her original question, just a general update, as if they knew it would be posted on here. (Just my opinion).

First it was 'wait til the end of January' and now its 'wait til the end of February' because of the 'Christmas backlog'. At what point does this excuse become unacceptable?

Can FJ or any other freebie network confirm they have had their TD payment delayed? Because if it happened to giveaway then it must have happened to a few others. Unless its all porkies anyway

I got a response today

"Thank you.

I will ask Cherie to respond to your query as a matter of urgency, and to confirm the despatch details for your cheque.

We apologise for the delay, and assure you this will be resolved as soon as possible.

Regards,"

I am aware that Jon knows what the situation is. I understand that you wouldn't want to say exactly what the problem is, however, please could you indicate whether the delays are justified (in your opinion) and if everything will evntually be rectified (once again, in your opinion).

Had I any doubts I would have taken action as needed, can't say any more than that really based on what I have been told.

As I have said on other threads, and to people on MSN, you will get your gifts, maybe with a few extra weeks delay due to reduced staff handling a larger than normal workload.
