That's exactly what I was thinking just before xmas m8, except I was only waiting for 90 quid.

I do agree with the point that arctic had made. Whilst I appreciate that no one can force the networks to post on here, I do think perhaps members were left hanging for far too long. What I feel needs to be addressed is that people only started to speculate/worry as they were aware of how reliable GA usually are.

Also from what I hear some members were still getting responses from support, and it was generally the lack of gifts being sent that was concerning members. Surely if this is the only part of the freebie process which seems to have halted, then what else are members to think?

IMO the mention of the network 'going bust', is probably only brought about by the economic climate, and I for one genuinely thought it was a possibility.

As I have said before I am glad Tab is doing alright and can't thank him enough for helping me out at xmas. Now that we have been assured that all is well perhaps business can resume as usual.

It's hardly surprising that there has been a lot of speculation, that is all that people are left to do when any network suddenly goes quiet.

At the end of the day, forgetting any talk of financial crisis, GA have simply not given an acceptable level of service over the last few months. Announcing new features is all well and good but they have to follow it through; how long did the daily verification and shipping last for example? Surely after four years they have enough experience to know what is involved?

I take Jon's point that GA are possible still the biggest of the networks but even if Tab/Cherie are around (and I sincerely hope all is well with them) shouldn't that mean they have the resources to do things properly and get cover?

The ironic thing is that they have come a heck of a long way since my early days of freebies in late 2006. What has changed is the other networks, who have raised the bar considerably.

And the saddest thing of all....GA still has the best design, sign-up rates and ratios going, bar none. If they were half as good as FJ at the back-office stuff, then I would struggle to go elsewhere. Unfortunately, the balance has tipped right now

Anyone know how long it usually takes for a custom order request ticket to be replied to? Its been 4 days now and nothing

Actaully how long does it normally take for the whole process of a request, verification, processing and seding? This is my first freebie and so never done a custom order...

Have you got any closer furbs? I understand you are waiting on a lot.

No i have had no more replies from anyone but i didnt bother sending ticket after that because I dont think Tab will reply due to what Lisa and Cherie said.
I am glad I have made people beleive. (even though people shouldnt stick up for companies like that) I just knew there was an explanation and I had to find it.

(LALA = Tickets for custom order are normally quite quick as Lisa should reply to them. Maybe send a ticket with the high priority setting??)
I have never received anything from giveaway but i assume once your CO has been added to your account (and you have enough green you can click verify) I think this is right.

I got the BT on the big account

Had three other accounts on processing at the same time and would have made sense for just one BT but that didn't happen.

Not in my experience. The only people who have ever dealt with custom order tickets are Tab and Cherie and it has always taken a while.
